Not impress with the product it will be a dud of a set and it's corny. It will have few key cards. It's a bootleg sapphire and a money grab from Topps piggy backing off the Topps Project success. The person name attach to it 50% or more people don't even know who he is. I'm not mad in the people that bought it and can turn a profit by or means make your money it's a American way I guess. But this set and cards will not be iconic cards in a long run their nothing special.

I dont see the long term appeal for the set name itself. It will have a niche following in the long run with the limited availability though. Those 50% that do know his name is in the hundreds of thousands. That could be a factor. Also, players collectors will need these for their sets.

I agree with people chasing player pc. I would buy a few myself. I'm just saying I don't see the long term appeal of this set. A few inserts are very nice cards but general the set seems like a rehash Chrome Topps cards.

It's a one shot deal to feed off the Project 2020 popularity. I don't see them continuing with it after this year.

It's been mentioned a few times in this thread... it isn't blingy enough to be Baller. By missing the mark there, even though the actual cards look perfectly fine, the product doesn't meet the super limited/high end expectations that grew out of the pre-release hype.

Is it a no brainer at $250? That's also been answered with a resounding yes. Is it a must have? Unless you're a die hard Baller fan, the uneven packout and potentially hitless boxes make that a no.

Agree. When you look at the P2020 trout, its really well done. These just have a chain hanging from the topps logo and some diamond type look where the name is.

Ben Baller was on Blake Jamieson's YouTube channel last night, and mentioned he also has some GPK collaboration in the works with Topps.
Gonna be interesting to see how that turns out if true.
