The most expensive, top-of-the-line, sonic welder costs about $45K.

They glue their cases together.

Forget the fancy flips. Forget the plethora of errors (of which, all TPG are not immune). Forget the multiple failures of 3rd grade level math. Forget the failed horizontal card holders experiment. Forget the slabbed counterfeit cards (again, all TPG are not immune).

You want to be a serious TPG player... and a year or so into this venture... you've spend $0.00 on what should have been the very first piece of equipment you purchased before even accepting card submission #1.

Nope... HGA... hard pass.
There's no money left for a fancy sonic welder when you invest so much in INDUSTRY-leading advanced AI...... plus Tyler gets a sweet deal on glue sticks at Sam's Club.

I love their slab, I really do! But when a company use the Slogan ''where 10days mean 10days'' to laugh at other grading company ..... you better deliver! And they don't right now!
I'm now at 75 business days and my card is only at the stage ''Scanned''

I shipped my HGA order on Monday exactly the same time as my PSA order. 7:23 AM PT I received an email stating my SGC order was received. I just received an email from HGA that my order was checked in. I do appreciate those emails. Now the wait...

30 day received on 9/29 is still at "received". Absolute clown show of a company.

Did 10 days mean 10 days back in September?

Unfortunately, there are people on social media with 100+ days and still waiting.

The thing that I would be afraid of with this company is them going out of business and people never getting their cards back. People might say that is over dramatic, but unlike the other big 4 comapaines, they have no parent company underwriting them.

If humans are involved in any process of the grading then it is obviously subjective.
That's fine. I get it. You don't want to be lied to. That's fair.

For me, I have sent in over 250 cards to HGA with consistent grading results every time. I don't care what they call it, I don't care about the semantics or the terminologies or whether it's machine assisted, AI, robotic grading, whatever, again, for me, it's better than some new trainee that PSA is throwing out there. I care about a consistent and fair grade, of which, I have gotten on each and every card I have sent in. I haven't been getting that from PSA.

lmfao. Not 1 grader in Tyler's garage knows that the most iconic set in the hobby is notoriously chipped?

As an aside, I don't understand spending that much on a card and not immediately filing a claim with eBay. Even auctions with "no returns" doesn't cover fraud. Maybe he did and just wanted to bring awareness of it anyway (as he should), but that's way too much money to just take it as a personal life lesson.

Exactly. Easily one of the top 10 cards that has ever entered their garage. An iconic set. You know a dozen people touched, handled, looked it over and jerked to it in the restroom. But not 1 person saw the red sharpie massacre?

Wonder if they’ll buy back the Penny and this new fake MJ auto as promised.

PSA would. Did Tyler actually hire any authenticators at HGA for high dollar cards or did they just copy PSA's authentication standards? Anyone buying a card in a HGA slab over $1000 really needs their head examined. They will probably just add these cards to their do not grade list. Pretty soon it will read that HGA will not grade any card of Jordan, Kobe, Mantle, Ruth, Gretzky, Trout, or any player that made an all-star game.

You might be right, but I cannot feel sorry for anyone dealing with HGA, considering the “bait and switch” AI tactics they used. If they are still receiving large volumes of cards, for flipping purposes, those individuals will soon learn a valuable and expensive lesson. I stand by my original comments, check my post, HGA is a custom slab company that puts numbers on the case.” They should just accept that fact.
