I went ahead and searched through my Offer History. 39 pages dating back to Christmas Day of 2023. Honestly, I’m too tired to go further back than that.
We have only had one transaction. That was ME buying a card from YOU on 3/12/2024. It was for a Leaf Ohtani RC. We did a little back and forth on the offers and you accepted a 10-15% off discount after I originally asked for 20%.
I buy a lot on the platform. I confess that I like to send out lower offers. If your settings are set to receive 50% off offers, I probably will send something near that. Why? Because I like good deals and I’m not offended if they are rejected.
I’m 20 cards away from having purchased 28,000 cards on the site.
I just passed the 18,000 cards sold mark.
Not as big as some on this forum, but I’d like to think I’m doing something right.
As for not accepting offers. I actually do. However, my store has been on a 50-60% off sale over the last month and a half. The COMC offer settings don’t allow for offers greater than 50% of my asking price.
I asked my account manager in the past about changing this figure to allow for heavier discounted offers. As of summer of last year, they are looking into it. Not getting my hopes up.
There are plenty of sellers that adjust prices after you send offers. It happens to me all the time. I don’t get butt hurt over it.

I’m glad my shenanigans(?) can provide you with “free entertainment.”

*maybe you have another username? I probably have adjusted my pricing for cards that were well lower than the market. I can recall doing this with vintage that looked much better than the counterparts under the same listing. But, the cards are mine and I get to dictate the price. You should have bought at the asking price then.

COMC has the Spring Cleaning sale posted for April 21st-27th. This one has historically not been that great. I'll probably run a 40-off and see what happens. Seems like anything of decent value has already been picked from my port in recent months.

I may have lucked out. I was planning on buying a few more cards in the next couple of days and requesting shipment this weekend. I will wait and see how it comes out. The last several years of their sales has not been good for me.
I'm sure I will purchase 20 cards but not sure I will spend $100. If the deals are there I will. Depends on the cards I may or may not have to add some money to my account.

COMC must have gotten an influx of packages due to the promotion ending on Monday. I had a package delivered to them on Monday and nothing checked in as received yet.

Update(not that anyone asked for one )...

COMC returned my email and said that they agreed that the card was damaged after they'd received it and before it was graded. They made sure to let me know it was probably damaged at PSA, as they're super careful ... Ha-ha.

I paid $55~ for the card and $23 for grading. They gave me 2 options:

1. Refund on the $55~ I paid for the card. I eat the $23 grading.
2. A one-time $10 inconvenience refund.

Neither are great options, since I didn't damage the card... But I chose #2.

As ALWAYS regular CS, while taking forever to get back to you, is VERY friendly and actually helps. If I could only get my "rep" to respond to an email...that'd be great

I check up on this thread every so often, so not sure if this issue comes up often. I had a submission due yesterday with quite a few items to upload yet and expected to find that they were uploaded by this morning. None were.

How often does this happen to others? It happened to me once before with just a handful of items but this time was a lot.

COMC Canada) has not introduced new surcharges or altered its operations, with COMC customers in Canada still being able to take full advantage of our weekly cross-border shipments to avoid international shipping costs.

With no near-term changes in U.S. policy expected and Canadian retaliatory tariffs likely to remain in place, it’s not sustainable for COMC to continue covering the 25% increase in duty fees as it has been doing. As a result, COMC has no choice but to raise its duty fee on cross-border shipments from 5% to 30%, effective immediately.

Well, they'll cost about $4 each to list and cost buyers the $1 handling fee. It depends on what you have in them, what you need to profit off them, and whether you have other options (antique mall both), pawn shop, card show, etc. I've bought quite a few of the military ones someone keeps offering.
