Yup. Even Stanton is doing better than Rizzo and that's sad. I'm wondering if he has given up caring with all of the articles out there saying his contract will likely be bought out in the off season so they can have money for Soto.

Brutal stat if you are a Twinkies fan:

Quote:
New York improved to 105-42 against the Twins since 2002 — the best record for any team against an opponent in its own league during that span.

Gil with more Yankees history:

Quote:
Gil has a 0.60 ERA in his last seven outings and is the first pitcher in Yankees history to throw at least six innings and allow no more than one run in seven straight starts.

Dominguez went 0-3 in the lead off spot during his 1st game with the Railriders.

You know he’s doing bad when I suggest Lemahieu take over first base.

I forgot he was on the Twins and the Yankees traded Jake Cave for him.

What was a good sign is his control as he didn’t walk anybody.

I still say he has lingering concussion problems.

At least they know they have someone who can step in if an injury happens.

Yup. I'd rather sacrifice and have Cabrera play third every day than see Rizzo continue to suck offensively and defensively now. One of the articles I read was for a trade to get Goldschmidt if he was improved before the trade deadline. I'd rather just throw DJ there and let it ride. Move Rizzo to a pinch hitter and then say goodbye in the offseason.

Yes, what great revenge last night for Gil. And to only have given up Jake Cave.

I thought he was going to have a bad outing when the first batter he faced singled off him. He settled down after that. Somerset had the highest attendance ever, I believe, for that game.

Seems like a decent plan.

Yea I would say the Yankees got the best of that one.
