As long as neither you or her need to tell the other what to do, then you should be fine. When I was the Site Lead and then Program Manager for the site that had my wife as an employee, HR ensured she reported for all company matters to another PM. The problem was, I still had technical oversight of her and at times, she would allow things to happen at home get in the way of me tasking her to do technical stuff.
