Just got home from our afternoon out. I made the daughter’s day by saying we’d go to CiCi’s pizza. I felt like I owed her a trip there after I pulled the 52 fake out the last time she went out with us by stopping at the mall and making her forget all about pizza.

We passed by a business and the temperature on their display said 109! The heat this summer has been outrageous. Dangerous heat, the AC can’t keep up. It’s hard to sleep at night.

I know. We almost had our first 90 degree day of the year. Very hot!

Or great granddaughters birthday party was nice. She had setup mini pools in the back yard for all of the kids to play in. I'm not sure why she spent $16 on a regular-sized cake from Sam's club just to give that to the granddaughter to put her hands and face in. She did a piñata too.
