Thanks, I sold 1 Standard pack on Atomic and can see he/she still has it unopened.

I sold 2 Premium packs on Ebay so I'm not sure I can track those down if they are no longer in the wallet I transferred to in the sale

Appreciate your help

they should still be under your ‘bought’ tab, right?

No, it's only showing the cards I bought on AtomicHub.
I bought 10 of each pack with a credit card on the drop

Try: go to Trading. Look in Transfer History

On Atomic Hub you go to your profile, and then 'sold listings'. Look for the sale of the pack you are wondering about. Remember the mint number of that pack and the date/time of the sale. Now click on the buyers name. This will show you the buyer profile. Click on 'Transfers'. Now you just scroll through the buyer transfer history until you find your pack mint number.

This is usually where date/time comes in handy, as its likely the pack was opened as soon as it was purchased from you. Once you find the mint number of your pack, there will be a little flame icon next to it which indicates it was opened. The cards that transferred into the buyer account after opening the pack is what was inside. If there is no flame icon, that just shows that the pack was transferred to the buyer account and was not opened.

There may be a much easier way to do this, but it's worked for me so far.

What's up with this tweet? Makes it sound like this new company has exclusive rights to MLB collectibles.

I think it might mean they have exclusive right to NFT collectibles.

Topps needs to clear it up the nuance--I would imagine it's something like non-video NFTs or NFTs based on their cardboard releases. Either way they need to counter the language in that tweet you linked to because that certainly makes it sound like they have the exclusive rights.

They just put an article on ESPN. The first NFT will be Lou Gherig's luckiest man alive on July 4th.

And it appears they have an exclusive deal with the Candy company mentioned in the OP

This does not look good, but just because they are the exclusive for producing NFTs on behalf of MLB, it doesnt necessarily mean that Topps cant produce NFTs based on their cards. Digital licensing has a ton of loopholes and most licensors understand that NFTs and Digital Cards can be the same thing, but not mutually exclusive either.

I'm not sure that is entirely true, though. I am at work and so have only been following the discord peripherally, but I think two things right now are: Candy has the rights to videos/moments but not cards and their license right now is with either MLB or the Players' association but not both (not sure which).

That could be entirely wrong info. But I don't think "[Candy/They] are the exclusive for producing NFTs on behalf of MLB" is correct.

From the ESPN article:

Quote:
The smart-contract technology that fill the Ethereum blockchain, Vaynerchuk said, provide the best opportunity for baseball to use NFTs with a younger generation of fans likelier to be more fluent in the crypto world and willing to buy into the idea of digital assets. It's not just the highlight itself but the canvas it provides.

For example, take the Chicago White Sox's Yermin Mercedes hitting a home run on a 47 mph, 3-0 pitch from Minnesota Twins Willians Astudillo -- among the most viral moments of the young baseball season. There could be a still photograph NFT. And an artist's rendering. Plus the highlight. And maybe an NFT that offers an opportunity to interact with Mercedes, Astudillo or both.

The NFT, Vaynerchuk believes, can be a mixture of collectibles and real-life opportunities.
Could be cool - sounds like a different product from what Topps is doing.

Yes, TOPPS will probably continue to do MLB card style NFTs. Which IMO is totally ok, 3D art is also not outselling 2D art. The marketplace is important, but TOPPS needs to communicate better.

Panini already mentioned they won’t do video NFTs like Topshot, but announced already NBA packs for their Blockchain and released animated card NFTs during the NFL draft.

So similar announcement might be in preparation for NFL and NHL NFT platforms at one point.

Unfortunately no word since DJ gave that statement towards Beckett.

Might be slightly delayed, but should happen anytime soon on the Blockchain.
BTW in the moment it looks actually pretty good that Panini BC is not tight to a Crypto Currency

The MLB/Candy partnership shouldn't really affect Topps NFT offerings or the marketplace (in theory). Why would MLB want to harm their relationship with Topps?

That being said, Topps and MLB 100% need to do a better job of communicating what is going on with their NFTs and how the Topps and Candy offerings will be different.

Agreed—Topps did a horrible job yesterday not providing any clarification on their agreement. I did see Candy updated their statement to remove the “exclusive” wording.

Topps needs to get their #@#@#@#@ together. As far as I can tell it’s just a bunch of kids running this thing and it’s starting to show.

Buzz over the weekend was "whale(s)" swooping in and gobbling up lots from the marketplace causing positive market action.
