As far as I know it's real. 2 Are on eBay now... both around $12,000+. I'd like to see another one sell to see if that price is legit or just one buyer overpaying. Even if it is an overpayment now... that price isn't too far away in the future.

That $8500 doesn't surprise me at all. Those don't come up anymore, and when they do, the BINs are exorbitant. $10k after the AS break for a PSA 10.

I sold mine for $7500 3 weeks ago, so I'd say it's a real sale and probably going to hit $10k pretty soon.

A few years ago I gave my son $1000 budget and let him get the card of his choice. At the time it was a very tough decision between Giannis and Simmons. He decided on the Greek Freak, and I went a little over budget and won a Giannis Silver Prizm PSA 10 for $1375.

hard these days to get the next generation into cardboard.. also just doesn't seem right to show them Daddy just spent thousands on a card or a box.. and later give them lecture on how to value/spend money wisely...

I can’t even get my wife to buy in to what I’m doing when I turn $500 into $2000 in 6 months. It’s all still cardboard to her

There haven't been any BGS true gem or PSA 10 Giannis Prizm parallels with serial numbers in quite some time. I would look forward to see what some of those comps are now.

In your opinion do you think the appreciation in Giannis RC will transfer on to his low # parallel and inserts? Such as optic holos and prizm silvers

I think it's already starting! 14-15 silvers have already started to increase, as have his Optic Holos all years.

I still can't believe a Prizm silver went for 8500.00....wonder what the ceiling is on my Prizm blue die cut?

If Zion can get $400+, no reason why Giannis can't be $1000.

Select Silver PSA 10 went for $2625 last night. It was a probstein auction, so we'll see if it comes back up for sale.

Nice card... love the grades.

An overpayment today will be a deal in 2 months. If you see a card you like and want and can afford it... I'd buy it. I did that last season with a PSA 10/10 Giannis Gold Standard. I kept thinking... this price is too much....not sure if I should buy it. I just thought of the future and sold cards I didn't want to help pay for it. Curious to see what the one that ends tonight will end at.
