I hit this yesterday when I was bored and opened my sealed 2022 update I was going to “save.”
Totally made the box as the auto & relics yielded

as did the silver packs.
I’ve gotten lucky with/ Judge short prints as the 2022 Topps X Aoki yielded a Judge Bushido for me. Print run maybe 20 for the Bushido?

Goes well with my same set Ohtani ssp I was lucky to pull too. I like short prints

I’m new to baseball and new to collecting cards as well, so I’m sorry if this has been asked before.

I’m wondering why Judge doesn’t get put in the same category as Ohtani. Judge has one less MVP yes but I think he’s just as good. But it seems his card prices don’t reflect that

Also not a card but I got this recently. My first time getting a baseball jersey in 15 years. My dad took me to my first baseball game which was the Yankees against the Red Sox at the old Yankee stadium and he bought me a Derek Jeter jersey. I’m not a Yankee fan but I love Judge and it felt fitting that my Jersey purchase was another Yankee captain in Aaron Judge. Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk

To put it simply, both are great players but Ohtani is a unicorn. Great hitters come and go, but great two way players haven't existed in a long time.

One thing you'll learn about the hobby is that baseball good does not equal hobby good. Some players transcend the hobby in popularity and their card prices are higher than similar caliber players because of it.

That’s just a thing that matters to Yankees fans. He has more than enough non-Yankees fans who collect him that it shouldn’t impact his card values much.

Went hard on Judge this past off season and very happy about it. With Ohtani in the NL it's essentially his league.
