Not a waste if they can reject cards that have no shot at a 9 or 10. If I’ve never seen a card in hand I trust them to give me an opinion.

50 free pre-grades? My guy told me I only got 20. Mine must be a lower level account.

It was 20 - I had the number wrong

Question. Are there anyways to bulk price updates the unpriced cards? For example, how do I assign 25c as a default price for all unpriced cards. Thanks.

So COMC tells people they get 20% off of submissions but then doesn't do it?

Am I really going to have to email them about it?

Did you get the Premier Account e-mail and did you contact your rep? The discount is not automatic, your rep should have provided more details.

I contacted the rep and got a discount code, which I was informed does not stack on other discounts. Didn't really expect it to, but thought it was worth asking.

I read it but there was another section I found where they mentioned the Result would say something like "Failed". Also, I don't have the cost for Elite processing on my history so I wasn't sure.

Same here. You need to write it down in your paperwork along with your rep's name.

I'm particularly interested in the ACH/direct deposit (into bank account) option, but I'm just hesitant to give such personal information to third party companies - thus, why I'm wanting to see others' experiences first. Thanks in advance.

Default Cash Out

So, I checked my PP account, and the money had not been refunded. I checked my COMC account, and the money had not been refunded. So, I sent an email to COMC and an email to Tipalti.

I doubt that this will ever be fixed. The amount of money is small, but it is so typical of the crappy COMC customer service.

Thanks for the response.

I see there's an issue with the withdrawal fees though. Has this been corrected? Or do you recommend I wait a week or so?

Did anyone ever receive a call from their premier rep? Said he was going to reach out, but I never heard from him.

I did. He's also responded to my emails fairly regularly.

So you folks are having to email people and write down names and codes on submissions?

That's not exactly how I took "..you will automatically receive a 20% discount on all submissions fees.." to mean.

Guess I'll be emailing the premier rep.

It also said in the same paragraph that you need to write a specific phrase on the submission slip that you send in with your cards. I don't want to quote it for fear that others will steal the discount. You should go back and read the whole email in detail.

Now are you referring to the initial email from COMC?

That's what I'm referring to and it doesn't mention writing anything anywhere.

I think that's why they also make you write down the rep's name, so they can verify with him.

My guess is that this is how they are gonna do it while they work on changing their software. At least that's what I hope.

No, I'm referring to the email that I received directly from my Account Manager, who is who COMC said you should contact upon receiving the original email.

Do you always have to fill out the tax form when you request a cash-out?

Tbh tax forms should be required for all this consignment stuff, I suspect many places don’t though (have no idea about comc specifically since I never cash out).

Why does one selling on ebay get sent a 1099 and someone with consignment doing the exact same thing, having their cards being sold and getting paid for them…not? Shouldn’t matter either way whether one gets the 1099 or not for tax purposes, but you know for many it will. Is this why the huge uptick in consignment selling over the last few years…hmm. Matter of time until that changes probably, and it’s all handled just as if selling yourself on ebay.

Actually got a 1099 from paypal this year due to the cash outs from COMC.

I'd been including the $ from COMC when I do my taxes previously anyways.

This makes sense since Paypal issues 1099’s just as ebay would. I’m not so sure about those checks/direct deposits though.

People wonder why so many people in droves are selling expensive cards with probstein, DCsports, Goldin, etc… well that would help explain it. Maybe I’m wrong and it’s always issued, but I’m doubting that.
