Pretty thrilled all around, especially with the base and die cuts.

So your 6th color parallel was the Lux Gold (which also happened to be a die cut). Still the same number of hits either way and definitely better than a green Dee Gordon.

Legally you can keep them all and can fight charges if they try and charge you (there's a law about unsolicited goods received through the mail). I just hope those 2 weren't supposed to ship to me hahaha

Oh I'm not complaining at all! Beat the odds with the die cuts for sure, and hit the nicer names as well. For the color parallels, I only got 4 which includes the Lux die cut and odds are 6 per box. Also just 1 throwback instead of the two...but again don't take that as a complaint by any means at all, just a breakdown of the known box odds

Legally you are entitled to keep them. Morally you've done the right thing in trying. If they will not take them back, don't feel bad about it.

She is reading from a script but Topps didn't give her anything to say about returns of extra merchandise.

I hope Topps has set aside enough boxes for screw ups like these.

Though not for all shipments, UPS has been skipping the handoff to USPS for their surepost and now Fedex has been doing the same for smartpost (received a smartpost package frim Topps delivered by Fedex truck recently).

I always hear this, but any collectible made has different levels of fabricated scarcity built in. This isn't precious metals or stones of which there is a finite supply. Was likely going to flip my first box, but it arrived crunched... and I am glad it did, as I can't ask for a better haul, and didn't find any of the cards to be damaged.

One of my boxes came smashed today too, top half. Opened the 8 packs that had a chance to be damaged and of course a Robert RC pops out. It's not bad, there is a tiny ding on the one corner, but luckily only two cards looked destroyed, and they were two low end base.

I'll open the rest later on tonight. Best so far was the Robert RC, Gold Bryan Reynolds, Green Danny Jansen, and 1975 Nolan Arenado, plus base of Alonso, Bellinger.

And to think that he actually signed at least 50 of these cards (+ maybe other lower serial numbers) makes the product with run of approx 8,000 boxes(?) that much more valuable.

If you offer returns you don't get the legal right to object to a return, under any condition. That's how the law works, it's codified for a reason. Ambiguity is a problem and OP invited ambiguity by offering returns.

OP, PM me for my username so long as you respect my wishes to keep it (along with my location/address/name) private. You'll see 200+ 100% feedback and a user for 10 years. You'll see purchases for bicycles, woodworking tools, baseball cards and little league gear. Never a problem, never a return.

Seems like boxes are still holding strong at $650+ on ebay. Single prices are strong too.
