I'm not sure about those, but his BCA is off 90% from its peak.

I think Gleyber cards are undervalued. He gets a bad rap because of his fielding, but he had a pretty good year last year, especially compared to someone that just got 35 mil a year.

Gleyber:
H: 135 HR:24 RBI:76 Avg:257 Runs:73 SB: 10 WAR: 4.1

Correa 2022:
H: 152 HR:22 RBI:64 Avg:291 Runs:70 SB: 0 WAR: 5.4

If only Gleyber could block out the trade talks and not go to jelly at the plate when a trade involving him is being discussed, he'd be a much better player.

Correa had a .291 average,.366 obp, ops of .834, ops+ of 140 playing great defense

Gleyber hit .257, obp .310 and ops of .761, ops+ of 114

That's a pretty significant difference

I will also add, Gleyber wasn't absolutely awful in the field like Witt is last year, so that's a plus and if he can keep up his play from last year, he's going to be a solid player. I think people had views of him contending for MVP's after 2019, but even then he only had 3 something WAR that year. Funny how he had more WAR last year than his 38 homerun season in 2019.

After being terrible for 2 years(2020 and 2021), he had a nice, quiet rebound season to being productive though. He's still only 26, but I feel this is a somewhat important season. I think he is under control for 2 more years, and I feel if he doesn't perform this year, the Yankees might look to move on from him especially with Volpe and Peraza possibly taking over his job if he doesn't.

I still remember when he was more sought after than Ohtani lol
