There's bound to be some buzz when that happens if he doesn't make any in the playoffs this season.

If he pulls a Seager or Harper in the playoffs then there's decent bump potential otherwise there's really good bump potential late next season. Then it's probably ho-hum until he (hopefully) passes Gehrig pushing for 500. If so, his cards will likely make a big jump.
Wonder how much a 2nd MVP would do for him.

This guy is amazing. Can’t believe how bad he was in April, and still has put up at least 30 before the break.

A few ago I reduced my prospect purchases by about 90% and shifted the funds to established players I like and my hobby enjoyment levels went through the roof. Way more buying guys like Witt and Judge, than unknowns who will probably bust.

I completely agree! My PC guys are all active players that are/were "hobby good" and are great players. It is fun to watch and follow them!

One thing with Judge and Ohtani is that they're both so far ahead of the rest of the league they're making everyone else's accomplishments look meh. Hard to say so and so is a star when another guy is hitting 60hr and the other might win the triple crown with a 30/30 season.

And the down/carnage market is keeping their prices lower than where they should be in my opinion. It seems counter intuitive, but I believe both are a solid buy right now.

Um, I believe it's Judge who is going for the crown!! Guess they both can. Shades of 2022 for real.

A few weeks ago Goldin Auctions had the MLB certified and signed home plate from his debut game and first home run. Thought that was beyond cool. Other than his jersey and/or maybe his glove from a player's debut game, I can't imagine what could be cooler other than the actual home plate. Not sure how you display something like that, but probably a good problem to have!

Ohtani is leading the NL in avg, OPS, HR, and is third in RBI. I think he is also on pace to for a 50/30 season!

What Bryce Harper is doing is much more impressive than Ohtani. One sits on the bench the whole game and just hits, the other is out there playing defense. That will play in the voting come the end of the season.

I am sure it will! No DH has won the MVP. With that being said Ohtani is hitting better than Harper and his stats back that up...including both fWAR and bWAR. Let me guess...you collect Harper and not Ohtani?

Really comes down to how different their stats are. Right now they're less than 1 fwar apart so basically even.

From a pure offensive standpoint, Ohtani is ahead, no dobut there. Though Harper is also having a mvp caliber season from an offensive standpoint.

Take your Ohtani and Harper debates outta here! This is the Aaron Judge forum!

Honestly, right now, Aaron is in a category above both of them.

Let that sink in. It's nearly incomprehensible.

Really? Not terribly knowledgeable about FWAR, but it seems a little skewed then, since Judge is beyond solid in the OF, and he's at the top of virtually every offensive stat. Maybe FWAR somehow calculates his terrible April?

Prob related to how many games they've built at each pos. Gunnar is 77 at SS, 2 at DH, Judge is 60 CF, 8 LF/RF, 13DH

Gunnar Henderson-fWAR 5.9, bWAR 5.9
Judge-fWAR 5.7, bWAR 5.7

Judge is ahead in offensively, but Henderson beats him when you combine defense and base running in the WAR calculation.

I think the proper takeaway is they're both having awesome seasons.

They're doing pretty good for the 2nd and 5th best players in baseball that's for sure.
