Submitted 22AUG and per USPS it was delivered on 25AUG. How long does it usually take BGS to log the order on their site?

Every day I hope to see that this thread is bumped with good news of returns meeting quoted TAs, and every day, just as has been the case for the last 3-4 years, I am disappointed.

An update: I had sent two orders a day apart. My 8/15 order now has paid in the payment status, and I got an email from BGS saying the grading process has started. My order from 8/16 has shown up as invoice created, with payment pending.

At time of submission, their website was showing a turnaround time of 10-15 business days (as of May), and it is still showing 10-15 business days (as of Aug). Not true at all...

Update (30 Aug): Received notification that my cards were shipped yesterday, and I have received them today (FedEx Next Day).

I see on my end that estimated turnaround times as of 8.1.22 are:

Premium Submissions - 2-5 Business Days *as of 8/1/2022
Express Submissions - 5-8 Business Days *as of 8/1/2022
Standard Submissions - 10-15 Business Days *as of 8/1/2022
Economy Submissions - 30-40 Business Days *as of 8/1/2022

I submitted a 2-card Premium Submission that arrived and was delivered on site 8/30/22. Has not been logged into the system, and I have not been given an order # yet. The new online submission procedure just felt wrong, as well as only including an email confirmation in the package.

The new BGS online submission "form" looks like something a high school intern designed. Maybe they are targeting the Pokemon crowd with this? Totally unprofessional.

I guess Little Bobby Beckett of Plano Academy High School needed something to put on his college application resume.

Just so others know, I reached out to Beckett regarding my order being more than double the listed estimated time now and this was the response...

Please be informed that the National Show week is not included in our counting on the business days so as the 1st week of August since we moved to our new office.

Results: 10x 9.5, 9x 9, 6x 8.5 or less, and 1x Altered "pressed" (UGH). Very harsh on centering. But most of the grades were fairly accurate. only 1-2 that really surprised me in a bad way (not counting the altered). Had six Patrick Mahomes Rookie Patch/Autos/Patch Autos and they were all between 8.5-9s.

Despite all the heat BGS takes for their old website, the new slabs and whatever else the slab boy's are complaining about, their grading does seem to remain very consistent.

My latest submission was exactly the same. Harsh on centering (which is OK) and everything graded fairly.

Anything I submitted that had a slight corner touch or small surface defect (hoping to get lucky and gem) did not gem. They caught all the minor blemishes with 8 or 8.5 sub grades. And got hit on a couple 8 surface subgrades on stuff I clearly missed.

Thanks! yeah, they are being very strict with their grading. While I want more gems, if they continue this path to being hard to get gems, then gems will boost in value; which i am all for!

This was my first time using the subgrade option (did mostly BVG before ). Results: 9.5 = 2, 9 = 5, 8.5 = 1.

Highlights:

I only was upset with one grade. This was my BGS black label or bust. And I busted…give me a break on the 8.5 corners….

Doubtful as it is consignment exclusive.

You cant get your cards back from bgs or the real real, they stay on the platform.

My 2-card order that I dropped off at The National just shipped today. BGS is so weird, I had no clue these were even close to popping because they don’t provide updates on where they are in the process. I have a 4-card order that I sent 6 weeks before the National (sent at the same level as this one) and those aren’t done yet.

I didn’t think that the National submissions would jump ahead of older stuff, but they definitely are. Well, at least this one did. And the bonus for me on this one is that one of the 2 cards in the order coming back now is a pop 1 Black Label

Here’s some good news: I sent in an express order that BGS received on 9/14 and I checked my account this morning and the order is ‘graded’ already. Hasn’t popped officially but still this seems very quick.
