Not sure why this one graded an 8, but buying the card, not the holder, so here is some more 80's magic for you.

Once I saw it, I had to have it. The blue Expos jersey is pretty bad ass 80’s.

That is an awesome accomplishment. Don mattingly was the man in the 80’s and one of my favorite players. Hard to believe he is not in the Hall of Fame. Beautiful cards

Any 80s collectors agree the hype for Mattingly was > they hype for any card today?

He deserved any hype. He was the Mike Trout of the 1980's. Before his back injury, his first three seasons were probably one of the greatest starts to a career in the history of MLB. During the three seasons he averaged a 0.340 BA, 219 hits, 48 doubles, 30 homers, and 123 RBI's. He should have won the MVP for the second year in a row, but Clemens had his 22-4 year in 1986. He will be remembered in my generation as the Mickey Mantle of the 1980's.

I would totally hold the 'Like' button down on this post of I could. Hopefully he'll put another few great seasons together as a manager and make it into the HoF!

Just digging after 40 years of not touching the cards, so looking at completed sales on fleabay and pulling stuff that is in top condition based off what sells I guess. Long way to go... Guess I'm going to need one of them fancy photo boxes for listing purposes.
