My Step Dad grew up in New Smyrna Beach and he used to watch them all of the time.

The ones where it's not raining on the beach but the storm passes by over the ocean... spectacular. Hubby and I actually bought a couple of camping chairs just to sit out there and watch.

It's too hot for me most of the year but from about November until March its my favorite thing to do. There's a great blue haren that winters near one of my favorite spots that gets agitated whenever a storm is coming, so I like to go out and say hi, calm him when I can.

Those are among the best of times.

Anxiety. I keep telling her if it goes well she’ll get a fat 650k check and a new young boyfriend.

I’m surrounded by rivers, so the rain smell is extra fragrant.

Going to the Phillies/Marlins game this afternoon. Kid doesn't live nearby, so it's just the two of us but it should be fun

That sounds nice!

I go out with my mom the day before Mothers Day and we call it Mothers Day Eve. This year we stopped at all these little local antique places she has wanted to stop at for years. We sent out to lunch and were the only people at the restaurant so that was nice. My brother went with this year.

Today, I am just hanging out with my boys.

We pick a new area to explore every year and we already have our area for next year planned! I will start mapping places out a couple weeks before. We always have a great time!
