Then we went to see our son at college. Filled up for the third time in two days. With discounts, gas cost $2.93.

It's employee appreciation week for us. We have an escape room and mini golf this morning. It is also raining, I hope we get rained out tonight.

I saw a $900,000 car in Charlotte Saturday. There is 0 chance I would put something like that on the roads here.

I could buy about 60 cars at my trucks current value and be happy. I was never much into material things to impress people.

I solved the escape room in under 7 minutes. 1st group to solve it all day.

For me, it's not about impressing anybody else. It's about reaching a point in life where you know you could buy damn near anything you want in cash and not miss the money. I'm getting there, still some work to do.

Not bad for a boy who grew up coming home and the lights and gas being shut off. That's why I'm glad I grew up like I did. My parents worked hard, but sometimes it just wasn't enough. Put a fire in my stomach, and now they are taken care of.
