Plenty of star power for sure in this World Series! MLB couldn't be more happy! I'm a Yankees fan so either way I will happy! I just want Judge,Soto and Ohtani to have a great series!

Cheap is in the eye of the beholder (and budget)! But I do think the floor for base and low end RC insert cards are going to have a much higher floor and have less off season variation (probably like a 20% dip compared to over a 50% dip last year).

Hobby fail on my end though lol

Cracked my 2018 finest rookie auto out of the PSA 9 case because the card is super clean. Looked it over with a loupe and under a light, beautiful card, I figured I’ll try for the 10 and worst case it comes back a 9 again….. it came back an 8 lol

The 2017 finest Judge rookie auto, which I recently bought raw off eBay, came back a gem 10, which I didn’t think it had a chance at.

Freakin PSA

Not sure what to do with the Ohtani now, the card is just not an 8. Would try to crack again but don’t want to keep giving PSA $150 to grade the dang card and I really don’t want it in a BGS slab….

PSA is being hypercritical on sho rookie autographs right now. I would give it some time for whatever is occurring to calm down.

Yea I definitely thought about that, my timing was probably off in sending it in, especially since I don’t really plan on selling/trading it anytime soon.

Maybe wait for sleepy January and see if I can get it back in a 9 slab

Ohtani collectors! What is your strategy this week in terms of buying? Are you willing to pay more than you had in the past for cards you want? I am having a little FOMO right now. Somewhat worried if the Dodgers win the WS there might be another spike in pricing. At the same time, if the Dodgers lose I am guessing prices might come down 20%. Its an interesting short term dilemma. Long term I am still an buy and hold collector.

I just have ebay alerts set up for ohtani camo and ohtani indy and if someone rational has one for sale that I want I'll overpay slightly.

I've also been searching recent BINs for "ohtani" and buying low end stuff that'll look nice in my binder. I was checking auctions daily but after being shilled off a few nice cards I'm a bit over it.

Don't really have any FOMO going on, just in the mood to buy Ohtani.
