Get anything cool? Pretty happy with mine even though I can only figure out half of them.

These are so unique there may only be 1 person who really wants it ... 2) The person who really wants it may not be searching for it daily, but over time could pay up via buy it now / best offer.
Like 99% of releases people want to sell right away not wait and hope the right person stumbles upon it down the line. Think it also heavily depends on subject and the fact some people are way more under the radar popular than people think ie. Bill Hicks, Dave Matthews. Someone like Michael Jackson wouldn’t make a diff if it’s auction or BIN. If auctions are being undercut someone should buy them all then do as you said list BiN and wait it out.

It's also extremely niche. We like it because we are in this thread, but it doesn't appeal to most people. It's not quite signed photos and not quite cards, so it's a unique in-between. Everything is actually 1/1 and it won't be re-hashed 100x. So if you want one, you have to buy it this one time. Some of the prices have been inflated because of that. Unfortunately, the box price was too high to begin with, but Leaf didn't have to sell many of them, so it made sense. John McCain, for example, would be $30-40 in most products and went for $122 in this due to the weirdness/uniqueness of the product. There's a bunch more that were in the $100 range that technically shouldn't be.

I thought it was fun and memorable - more than I can say about almost every other release.

The only thing that held it back is that it's not breaker-friendly. Sad, but true. Cases generally went into collectors' hands, so the product didn't get ripped/hyped at the rate of most.

...with help from kakarot12 (Justin) I was able to get the one I REALLY REALLY wanted! Super crush on Staci Keanan back in the 1990's "STEP BY STEP" days, I got this one today, and man, it is just AWESOME! No way it could be a better picture of her! AMAZING! So proud to own it from this crazy incredible personal collection!

Nice! I purchased the Kevin Smith on Ebay today. The seller took $125 which I thought was a fair offer.

Looks like the Dave Matthews sold for around $750, is that low or high or about right ? I know if you compare to what his certified autos normally sell for, it's extremely high.

Yeah, that Matthews is an outlier. 6x what most of us would expect.

Also, I've identified all but one of the online purchases from my pg 9 photo. Any help on the last one would be much appreciated!

1. Jimmy Jam/Terry Lewis/Kal Rudman
2. Anton Fig
3. ?
4. Robby Gordon
5. Tobias Wolff
6. Anthony Federov
7. Robert Stone
8. Rostam Batmanglij

I maxed out at $500 on Dave Matthews. Diehard fan and thought it was a cool piece. His autograph isn't super common. Lot of uncertified autos or shady cerification company autos on eBay. Little surprised it went for THAT much. But he has a lot of really dedicated diehards like myself. Some of his rare concert posters go for over $1k

Woke up today and looked at the autograph one more time. For whatever reason I could read it perfectly clear. Jon Marc Jacobs! An actual pretty good one.

You wonder if some of these were just purchased by the collector on the secondary market. Like maybe she didn’t just take the pictures for some of these, but also collected signed Polaroids taken by others?

Like why have Rock sign Cooper hospital on this one?

I also think I’ve seen at least one signed to someone else… Will try to find the pic.

That may just be the location they were at; The Rock might have been visiting Make-A-Wish kids at a hospital when Marlayne found him.

So, 238 have been sold/listed on ebay in one month which accounts for about 10% of the product.

The average sale has been a shockingly high $175. BIN is definitely the way to list as most auctions end reasonably lower.

The two lowest sales are: Matt Hales for $9.38 and Maureen McGovern for $17.19.

The top five sales are:

$800 - Johnny Rotten
$760 - Dave Matthews (auction)
$650 - Liam Gallagher
$600 - Christine McVie
$580 - John Madden
$580 - Alan Rickman

Woody Harrelson and Muhammad Ali are the nest two and they were both auctions.

Exactly my thought. I went to a car dealership as they had Ryne Sandberg signing for free. I waited in line, got my one thing signed (thats all they allowed) and then caught him as he was leaving.

I asked if he could sign one more for us. And he signed my 11X14 "To Hawk Jeep". Which was the name of the dealership.

When I said "us" he must have thought I worked at the dealership.

It looks like the John Elway one is signed to her son, Beau. It’s a fun project.

Opened 2, both low tier

1. Steve Yzerman - which as a Wings fan and an early picture of him is cool and will be keeping this one for sure; and

2. Tony Orlando

What is everyone using to store these in?

They look a little thick for 5x7 toploaders. Two pocket (horizontal) pages might work, or 5x7 sleeves, stored in photo boxes. One-pocket pages could fit one at a time, otherwise.

Dang… those are some tough ones. I wonder if the guy in the orange Orioles jacket was a team bus driver or something.

Leaf spelled David Letterman's name wrong, but the card still sold for $315 on auction a couple of days ago.
