While admitting they can have value, I’ve watched some breaks and so far they are dry AF.

Honestly don’t see the fun factor. Dudes that got in a at msrp should have no qualms about selling for a huge profit imo.

80 cards per a collector's box and base of nobodies consistently selling for $10 per (inserts of nobodies probably selling for the same amount) on eBay right now.

Rarely do you come across such products these days where you can rip and "bomb" and still make out good.

Yeah the floor is crazy high.for MSRP. Base and inserts will come down on Tuesday when the market gets flooded, but there's a small window if you got your boxes early to make out like a bandit.

Think you either love the set or hate it. The cards are so gaudy and preposterous I don't mind it. Wish the autos weren't all stickers.

This is the annual WBC-type release where if you got in early you crushed it.

Based on auctions I THINK about 40/84 auto-primarly the undesirable rookies-have all the runs of color (300 autos per player) and the other half is SPed no higher than /35 per player, being 76 per player. Some guys are going to be lower than that, with no more than 6 or 11 autos.

So I suspect roughly 3/4 of the auto pool is the non SP, meaning every other box yields a better auto-i.e. a Jeremy Pena or better.

Only thing I'd like to calculate now is the allocation of Happy Mistake SSPs to photo variation SP. Both have 20 cards on the checklist and fall a combined 2 per box, but it is clear that HMs are 5-10x harder to hit.

Cumulatively that means there's 13125 total SPs not accounting for the Ross variation. If it's a 90/10 split between photo variation and HMs then HMs are a print run of 65ish..

So base 4200
Photo variation 590?
HM 65?

If HM fall 1:5 boxes? Just ballparking
Solid summary, sounds right. In the grand scheme of things, that's a low base card production.

Just got the one happy little box I ordered, wrapped loosely in a thin padded envelope. USPS of course crushed the happiness out of it.

There are a few other potentially moderately SP'ed autos (PCA, Henderson, James Wood) that haven't had higher number cards appear.

Some of these will certainly have more cards emerge but these are the guys at risk of having no auto #'d higher than 10--I suspect many of them are going to be SP'ed to yellow 25 and lower.
1A Juan Soto, New York Mets
24A Corey Seager, Texas Rangers
31A Vladimir Guerrero Jr., Toronto Blue Jays
64A Don Mattingly, New York Yankees
69A Ichiro, Seattle Mariners
10A Mookie Betts, Los Angeles Dodgers
4A Kyle Tucker, Chicago Cubs
100A Roki Sasaki, Los Angeles Dodgers
2A Spencer Strider, Atlanta Braves
3A Mike Trout, Los Angeles Angels
9A Paul Skenes, Pittsburgh Pirates
11A Yoshinobu Yamamoto, Los Angeles Dodgers

45A Julio Rodríguez, Seattle Mariners
48A Jose Canseco, Texas Rangers
49A Wade Boggs, Boston Red Sox
54A Ken Griffey Jr., Cincinnati Reds
55A Johnny Bench, Cincinnati Reds

65A Albert Pujols, Los Angeles Angels
67A Buster Posey, San Francisco Giants
70A Derek Jeter, New York Yankees

Most other guys have all 300 autos. Guessing that Crews and Strider won't make the final list for heavy SPs.

Of course Topps would ship them out like that. Looking forward to my crushed little boxes too.

Buyer beware for eBay user “iowagolf2”.
Just cancelled my Bob Ross Collector Box that I purchased for $650 and has it relisted for $799.99. When I saw the cancellation come through I thought for sure it would be one of my $500 boxes, can’t believe it was one I paid $650 for, that’s not far off of what they’re selling for today. Bad business on his part.

Pretty sure you can leave negative feedback. Torch him.

Let me know if anyone has any advice on how to leave negative feedback on a transaction like this. This type of cancellation happens to me once or twice a month when I get a good deal on something, but lately it hasn’t given me the ability to leave any feedback for those transactions. Once they cancel/refund the option to leave feedback is nowhere that I can find. Thanks in advance for any help.

No need to worry about flaging them..if they do it enough their cancelation rate will cause problems with their account.

Best thing you can do is reach out to eBay, get them to call you. Mention the false cancellation reason.

Both Happy and Collectors have nowhere to go but up. Huge regrets not getting in more of this. Not just because it's named after me either.

Thanks as always for the stellar experience, Fanatics. You're the best!

I think you need to wait like 7 days or something before you can leave a negative. Give it time and I am sure you will be able to neg them.

I have read it's easier to do on a computer rather than the app.

I didn't have an A+ box or anything but it was quite good and at least represented one of the more fun rips I've had with 2025 Topps products. Still have another box incoming but seems stuck somewhere...

Autos: Orelvis Martinez RC Blue /50, Matt Williams Yellow /25
Yellow /25: Acuna
Blue /50: Judge Bat on Ball, Jazz Art of Stealing, Ron Guidry
Green /75: Jhonkensy Noel RC Budding Talent, Mike McGreevy
White Easel /75: Kevin Alcantara RC
Paint Splatter /99: Corey Seager
SP: Jeter
SP Happy Mistakes: Rhett Lowder RC

Put that Ohtani up for sale now, and buy it back cheaper later on. That’s a funny great sp

Are you reporting the damage or just ripping?

Holy crap, there's only 5 unique listings for little boxes on eBay.

There's still a lot more listings for the collector's boxes but they're getting gobbled up (and offer better value than the little boxes).

Crazy times lol.
