A visual representation of my collation frustration with chromes. Again, 1 jumbo and 1 hobby case and ended up missing 15 chrome for the set. The picture is 15 chrome stacked next to all my duplicates/triplicates.

Pro debut foil color autos last year had the bottom edge foil peeled up on many of them. I sent them all to Topps and they replaced every one. Worth a try.

Also got base autos of Basallo, Emerson, Nimmala, Spencer Jones.

I was OK with my results, and happy to hit a chrome /5, foil /10 and 2x foil autos /10, but a little disappointed not to hit at all on Skenes, Crews, Holliday, Langford. I was also hoping for Max Clark, Jace Jung, Chase DeLauter, Matt Shaw, Jacob Wilson and/or Cole Young autos, which I don't have in my collection yet, and didn't hit.

They are hard to pull. I didn't pull any skenes auto either and did about 2 cases of jumbo and about 5 or 6 boxes of hobby. To answer your question, for 1 or 2 boxes, go with hobby. For cases, go with jumbo. You get a complete master set from jumbos. For hobby, more hits.

I must have gotten lucky out of mine then. I got a master set and 2 additional base set. Very few duplicates.

I liked jumbos better but it really depends on your goals like others have said. If you want to make sets, the hobby for sure. Jumbos seemed to have more color. I was 7 chrome short of competing 2 master sets.

My usual 2 hobby boxes left me 15-20 short of a base set.

I love this product so much. I hit maybe a dozen cards that will cover 25%-50% of my total cost depending on how a few auctions end. So in the end I’m out ~$125 to rip a sh*t load of packs, learn a few names I hadn’t heard of, revisit the super fun team names that always crack me up, and give me the traders I need to complete my favorite set of the year (now that heritage minors is gone). Plus gives me some more cards to list and sell on eBay which I also enjoy - that’s part of the fun of the hobby for me.

I realize I could buy a set for $40, but the extra $80 is entertainment value that is absolutely worth it for me. Yes, it costs more than the last x years, but I’m still into it.

I was also not lucky. I got triples of like 75+ cards to not even come close to a set from a Jumbo case. Inserts & paper were collated just fine though. My case was really good so can't complain too much.

I will say that sales for this product are backwards compared to other sets. People want the sets, but don't really want to pay much for singles with a few exceptions. I guess it has always been this way.

I am just not going to sell an auto of a recent 1st rounder for $5. Just keep it and hope!

I just sorted my Jumbo case chromes and am exactly 100 short of a complete set (of 200). I guess I got the same run twice, but I am a-ok with that as my run had every single good name outside of maybe Mayea & Nimmala. I had QTY'S of 2-3 for every chrome spot.

Tepid so far for me. Not a lot of BIN getting hit, have more low end autos in auction that are getting light traction. Have a big stack of foil (paper) color to list still.

Sets sold great again this year though.

LCS has hobby for $80 and jumbo for $90...seems decent compared to the bigger online shops.

My guess is their margins aren’t high enough on this product to push it so they are trying to dump it as fast as possible.

Big 3 are at $100 and $140 (one of them doesn't have Jumbo listed)

Jumbos for $90 is a great deal.
