If they had 10-15 blasters then I assumed maybe the blasters would be $20 to $25 each. Maybe higher quality and more desirable releases. Basically, Quality over Quantity.

Odds don't work the way you think they do. Think of scratch-off lottery tickets. The back will say something like 1:3.4 odds for a winner. But you could buy 10 from the same roll and not hit anything. The next guy could buy 5 and have 3 winners. Odds are across the entire production run.

Yep. Unfortunately I didn’t really consider getting 0 as an option when buying 6. I thought I was pretty safe getting 1 but was definitely skeptical about getting 2. I was pretty shocked when I opened them. Good news for everyone else is that my sacrificial kick in the groin/wallet increases the chances of everyone else getting something good!

Yep, totally understand. Just stating that odds would suggest that I had a very high probability of hitting at least 1 bonus. Didn’t happen. Is what it is. Just trying to provide some data points for everyone else reading this. Your odds have officially went up!

Got a bonus, was a black ziploc bag with 2 boxes in it. 1 was the Topps Trevor Lawrence box and the other was a 16-17 Optic Basketball blaster

Bonus boxes have less than 20 blasters. Then either extra boxes in black bags or a hoodie and redemption envelope(closer to 10 blasters in these from what we have seen).

You had an 8.8% chance to get skunked. It was unlucky but not out the realm of possibility. From what we've seen though, most of the 1:3 bonuses aren't worth much either. Fair enough though by Blowout because they're giving people 20 blasters so to make up for the real chase prizes, there must be a LOT of dud boxes to average that out. Point being they're giving you fair $200 sealed value, it's just not sealed value you want but again, that's the whole point of the program to get rid of $5 junk blaster boxes from their inventory

Yep, for sure! I rolled the dice and didn’t hit. I did get a few of the Bowman’s Best U mini boxes though so that softens the blow. Got a couple cool cards from there and hit an auto out of one of the Bowman baseball blasters so luck in those few boxes was good. There’s still some value there even without the bonuses for sure. Most of it is complete junk but definitely a few fun ones in there.

I bought 2 and got a redemption for a 40-box case of 2022 Bowman Platinum Baseball Blasters and got a hoodie in the other one along with a Bowman U hobby box. That's not even the best part. In my 2022-23 Select Basketball blaster, I got a Lebron James Tiger Stripe Prizm. I'm very satisfied, but realize I got much luckier than most.

i don't think they created more...in years past they would bring out more each morning...partly to replenish for those picking up, but also so they weren't all sold out on day 1

As long as they packed 1:3 with bonuses then they could create as many as they want, which is nice. The big 3 are all close enough that they can get trucks in on Friday or Saturday to re-up low stock.
