2023-24 UD Series 2 Checklist Release

Series 2 mania has caused 23-24 Extended to go up in price. I pre-ordered 2 hobby boxes about a month ago for $120 each. Checked today and they're up to $150.

It looks like tins are the same but I’m not sure. It does look like the blasters and Megas are different between target and Walmart. Time will tell which is better.

What's the diff between regular and deluxe? Just the word and serial number? Does it have a different gloss or anything else?

The tins/megas usually have different cards in the special pack. Walmart die cut. Target rookie class

The WM blasters have the jumbo YGs, the WM megas have the die-cut RCs, and the WM Tins have the 3 pack of orange or red Dazzlers inserts. Not sure if those will be the same for Target SKUs but would assume some would have different exclusives.

Target Megas have the Rookie Class pack and 1 Red Honor Roll as exclusives according to the listing. Think I’d prefer the WM Mega with the Die-Cut RCs

I have also been watching the blasters and besides the jumbo, it seems many have 2 YGs

Yes the Walmarts are better, especially with the potential red die cut parallel

I'm watching a stream on Loupe and a bunch of people are paying $65 right now to watch someone open a blaster for them. I just don't get it...pay $25 on the Target website instead? Though they must have just sold out as I was typing this as I see OOS now

Looks good with the naked eye. Put it under magnification if you have not. The top edge chipping will shock you on this year, especially the back.

Agree- I pulled an OPC RC of him last weekend but bought some blasters/megas today to at least have a choice. Leaning towards keeping the blasters unopened for a bit to see how his first few years play out and opening the megas.

I have one mega and two Walmart blasters coming.

I’m sad to have missed out on the Target mega.

If you don't need money, keep the blasters, or any sealed boxes. It will go down in prices when everyone wants one gets one. In the long-run, if Bedard becomes experts expectation these blasters can go really high. I don't expect finding these Ser. 2 retail wax easily maybe until summer when hockey season is over.

When Luka was hotcake, I believe I was selling them at $125 a box. 2018 Topps Baseball Update Box (Ohtani Rookie), these were rock-bottom prices at many places at Walmart, Party Store at clearance for $9.99, now it is close to $200 a box.

My local Walmart in Kentucky was loaded with hockey today, it’s not very popular here, grabbed 1 mega, nothing to write home about, had at least 8 tins on the shelf and 7 megas give or take
