There’s probably no set I scoff at more than TC Sonic. However, I make an exception for this card. I’ve been trying to find the right parallel of this card, since I absolutely live the photo. The aqua and pink happens work as a mostly color match, and the design fits the energy of the moment.

All that said, this is the only Sonic card I’ll ever willingly own.

You now own more Sonic cards than I do, but I think making an exception for that one is understandable.

I really like the Sonics, but then again I like colorful stuff and wacky designs, especially with refractors. My only complaint is they used yellow on too many of them. Could have used a bit more variety

The blue/yellow looks really good with the red uni imo

You did what I was trying not to—buy a bunch of versions of this card. But now questioning why I didn’t just go ahead and grab a few different ones…

I spent probably a year figuring out which one I wanted. At first, I thought a Sapphire would do it, but I didn’t like the “Future Stars” on it. Whichever card it was going to be, the background needed to be mostly obscured, so it’s just Jazz being Jazz.

That puts you at 1.4%!

Sometimes a bad baseball card makes you appreciate the good ones more. Interesting day for Jazz in the press today, maybe for the best that there was this other big Baseball story today. But I knew this character was bad news, all of sudden, once upon a time, when I pulled this card:

Whatever you do, don't zoom in on his eyes. You've been warned.

I support Jazz. David Samson came out looking worse in my opinion. Look at what “club house vets” did to Acuna in his rookie year. This story is a nothing burger.

I thought it was more about the “vets”, but found it amusing that it made me instantly think of that certain baseball card. It also made me appreciate the average smile on an average Jazz card a bit more.

Two new Jazz additions. I wanted one of those “70 Years of Baseball” autos for a while, but I didn’t want to just get the base, and they always seemed a but over priced for a sticker auto. So I was thrilled to nab a gold #/25 for $20.

Back in late 2021 I was offered a PSA 10 of the 70th Anniversary #/70 for $500. I politely declined. But I did buy an SGC 9.5 for $100 and a PSA 8 for $60. I was able to get this PSA 10 last week for $43.

2021-2022 was a wild time.

What differentiates the 70th anniversary /70 from a platinum 1/1? Is it the “70th” logos on the sides?

I am not sure what the difference is honestly! Seems like it may just be the serial number??? Haha

Just got in a gold #/50 to go with the red #/25 I had. They make a great pair.

Yeah, this pitching staff went from “too many good pitchers” to not enough real quick.

And still not enough legitimate bats
Rogers was painful to watch, all over the place.

All that Jazz!
OK let’s try this again. Jazz puts’em up 3-0 and now Mr Meyer mow these mofos down and get that 1st W.

It’s been a rough start, and will most likely be a rough season, but I’m hoping Jazz and Max can be bright spots.

Jazz with the grand slam. Haven’t had much to cheer for so far this season, so I’ll take it…

HRs in back-to-back days for Jazz. Is he getting his swing back?
