Honestly, it's all about volume of liquid. You could do a water prep and be fine. As long as it's not solid, most endoscopists will just suction everything out, unless they are super high-volume and just want an assembly line.

His prep is fine, but a bit unusual. Mag citrate is using a jackhammer to crush a walnut.

If you saw the description of his prep you would notice the issue. Also this is way too early for the heavy duty component.

10, 1:45, 4, 6 so far. First one I could tell had a little solid but after that it’s been full fire hose blowing out the back of the toilet. At 6 I was done and finishing cleanup when surprise wave 2 hit!

No it’s fine. Since I can’t eat much of anything today (applesauce, banana, etc until noon), I’m pretty cleaned out already.

I think going to that diet (the above plus avocado, chicken, white bread) 4 days early helped.

Noises from my stomach are something, it doesn’t feel right either. I’m surprised I slept so well last night, back to sleep right away after hitting the can.

Might have to break into the Preparation H pads with aloe soon.

Jokes on you NN, I only had one episode this morning. It was the longest and worst but it may have cleared me out. I’m waiting now as I ate my last food at 11 until after the procedure tomorrow. So far things are going well.

It is the last home track meet today, so senior recognition. I was planning on not going (my son didn’t care) but I may chance it. We’ll see, I would only go for the recognition part before the meet.

Made it back home, no issues! I was there for an hour. I did hear someone say that two of the porta potty’s were “destroyed”.

Have to be at the doctor’s at 10 tomorrow morning.

Just popped the first two laxative pills.

Impressive that the reports on the "destroyed" porta-johns didn't initiate a panic reaction that affected your balloon knot control. You got this fam!

Please make sure to refer to the colonoscope as "The Butt Wand" when you are there, or even better just getting a little conscious sedation.

Just finished the Miralax and Gatorade mix for the night. It sucked because it was so much liquid. We’ll see if it does anything, I’m at like 10 hours since my last BM. I think my diet earlier in the week definitely helped with prep, less crap in there to crap out.

Again this is basically cruel & unusual insofar as you've devoted a week of your life to this process when a proper cleanout can be managed in less time.

The prep routine you endured would be more apropos to the likes of Corny who would need decades of congealed McDonald's grease dislodged from his innards.
