Yeah an MLB ready catcher who will hit for decent average and strikes out rarely for a 2 month rental and a often injured SS you wouldn't have kept past 2022. Oh not to mention you will get a good starting pitcher and other prospects. I wouldn't call this highway robbery at all. nor would i refer to this as peanuts.

That would be the Lakers/Wizards trade. Not this one.

Yeah, good trade for both teams.

Nats have done well on trades, but do the Dodgers have an insane front office or what?.

Not only do they get Scherzer, they snipe him from the Padres

If I’m Soto I demand a trade in the off-season, he’s going to be walked 100 times the rest of the year.

That's so awesome of the Dodgers to be so generous. Sorry--I just can't get excited about what I've heard would be coming back. Doesn't seem like good value to me. I'd rather let Trea play out his contract.

Kiebert Ruiz is what a .280 12 Homerun average defensive catcher, Gray is good but has already been traded twice and the other two are throw ins

Jesse Dougherty @dougherty_jesse
Can confirm that the full return is Keibert and Josiah Gray — LA's top two prosects — plus RHP Gerardo Carrillo and outfielder Donovan Casey.

I wonder if there's going to be more of people complaining about Trea Turner now being valued more than his comps or more canceled orders after his move to the Dodgers. I'm at 1 each already.

Good trade for Nationals.

Turner wanted out of DC and kept getting injured. Max was done after this year.

This really helps the Nationals.

Trea didnt want to be there anymore and he was being vocal about that.

The returns that were real and MLB Network said they heard were nowhere close to the pie in the sky stuff on twitter.

This was the best real deal according to MLB Network.

Yeah, I'm just pissed off as a fan tonight. I trust Rizzo and if this is the best he could do, I will get over it.

Are Scherzer and Trea Turner card prices already being affected? (as in going up)
I feel like going to LAD will bump up their prices quite a bit, but I'm not entirely sure.

The Dodgers are going all-in for this season's championship.

I've noticed a significant uptick in interest, at the very least. Turner was always an interesting hobby guy with the speed/ decent power combo. That might have waned with the emergence of Tatis though. And his Hall chances aren't great. Regardless, the move to the Dodgers can't hurt, and he probably moves Seager to 2nd.
