Chelsea is a dark horse candidate. Young core that is trending upwards with a maniac manager and owner with deep pockets.

No they aren't.

Chelsea get mentioned deliberately to drive the price up for the big clubs.

Also, Chelsea, while spending money on fees, have a pretty strict wage cap, and it's at least £100,000 a week less than the likes of Manchester City.

True and no one wants their junk. Coutinho, Griezmann, and Dembele on huge wages they can't get rid of and they need to figure out how to convince Me$$i to stay.

You don't remember Fernando Torres and John Terry? Some of the top paid players in the EPL, Hazard as well. Chelsea pays well, their current roster of players just aren't up there.

I think he ends up at City unless Messi goes there and screws up the finances.

John Terry's biggest contract was £150,000 a week.

Eden Hazard was on £200,000.

There's multiple Man City and Man Utd players on £300,000+

Yeah and that was almost a decade ago when Terry signed the contract same thing with Torres and Hazard. That's like comparing Lebron's 2011 Miami contract to his new Lakers extension that's almost 4x as much yearly.

Anyways I'm no longer debating this because it's dumb and off topic. This is about Erling and his cards. Hopefully the ankle injury isn't bad and doesn't linger him all season.

No, it's not the same, because Chelsea's pay cap is still £200,000 a week.

They just don't have the income that the "bigger clubs" do, or teams with greater matchday revenue such as Tottenham. They operate at a loss each year, and are bailed out by "loans" by their chairman - they owe Roman almost two billion GBP.

Yeah, I won't be flooding the market...EVER.

Might as well consider only about 140 of the 178 in existence. Roughly 35-38 or so might stay in the family to see how Haaland pans out over the next decade. Maybe they'll pay for some of my kids' college.

Nice haul. A buddy of mine has 13 so now I know where 30 percent of the market of these cards are now to round up the gang and the mystery wagon and hunt down the rest

These are pretty good looking cards! I grabbed 20 because I had Topps Now rewards to spend, didn’t get any parallels but I like them regardless. Shame bulk psa pricing went up lol.

That's a GREAT card! I'm actually surprised it didn't sell a lot more.

Watch what happens when people start to realize how nice Topps NOW cards are quality wise. Topps does a real nice job with them.

$121.2k for the PSA 10 Bundi Orange auto PSA 10 at Goldin tonight. Yes, $121.2k. Unbelievable. Can’t even imagine what this does to wax.

Completely in sane. I've been wondering how the market will treat the Bundi ref autos vs. the non-auto refs. The Haaland autos are not on-card, so they always reminded me Luka Prizm RCs (where the non-autos are generally preferred), but these auction results make me think otherwise...

Just wow. I had the chance to buy one of the red autos for under $20,000 last year and passed. I thought that was a ridiculous price. Live and learn, today's ridiculous is tomorrows cheap.....or as TBP is fond of saying...."That's CHEAP!!"

I think both are good buys but comes down to your budget and preference. If you can, go graded as both have surface issues with sapphire having those print lines but less noticeable than the finest that with me at least seem to come out with a scratch or in one case that weird scruff mark that something happens in chrome. Forget where I grabbed this screen shot (not mine) but here is the estimated base pop for all his RC for that year which I think is fairly low across the board

Agreed on you need to buy graded if you buy any of them or ask the seller if there are any print lines and even then you might be returning the card raw.

PSA Gem Rate is pretty bad for a modern card.

Finest- 60%
Bundesliga- 67%
Chrome UEFA- 52%
Sapphire- 61%

Ive been buying wax lately of different sets(a lot of 18/19 TC Bundi, they are super cheap). Haaland singles are getting ridiculously high, so I thought id try the "cheaper" option.

Is $900 a decent price to pay for a sapphire psa 9? I feel like sapphire will be one of his top rookies down the line but I could be wrong haha
