I've just come to expect (and accept) all of the odd takes on BO. People will actively root against a player/team, just in hopes that an internet stranger will lose money
To be fair, I don't think he fades away when Bron comes back. I was unloading a fairly big THT and didn't want to do the ultra-pump thing. I think THT is the real deal. He's still VERY young with a high hoops IQ, on the right team with the right mentors and is absolutely a player capable of running his own team for a decent stretch right now. He'll be a beast in 2-3 years.

I’ll be saving this gem of a comment for later

Can’t believe it’s 10 pages. Or that he ever got a thread in the first place.

Your thirst for internet forum glory is hilarious. I'm flabbergasted you aren't an NBA talent scout! Instead you settled for Blowout know it all. Something you can certainly be proud to tell your kids one day though...

Funny thing is he might finally break out like majority of Lakers prospects.

Ingram
Clarkson
Russell
Bryant
Kuzma
Randle
Lonzo
Zubac

All had better individual careers after leaving the franchise and with Utah rebuilding perhaps THT is next.

True. I wouldn't be surprised... But the mishandling of THT by the Lakers is like a case study of how to not manage/develop a prospect. Just an endless series of blunders

They also picked him over Caruso (could've kept both if not for Jeanie's LT paranoia), and basically ended up with 34 year old Beverley in an attempt to cover up their blunders.

The Lakers sold their soul for a Mickey Mouse ring w/ Lebron. It will take them years, after he leaves to recover. Hope it was worth it. They are complete joke now.

He was a late 2nd round pick and if you only could see what the investorbois and laker homers post here you would think he was a lottery pick.

Dude has managed to get worse each of his 3 seasons despite playing more each year, and having the luxury of playing with LeBron and AD. But yea, totally the Lakers fault that he's not good

Who are you trying to prove a point to? Don't see anybody saying THT is a world beater. You just love the smell of your own balls

Yeah, THT over Caruso was a costly Lakers monumental misstep in the LBJ era.

and not sure how valid those untouchable rumors were during the trade deadline but the FO definitely overplayed their hands with the THT situation. They also tried to make him something he’s not (3 and D player) He was at his best when he had the ball and was slashing/attacking the rim but he’ll never have that opportunity with the Lakers.

Who was the last young player to play better on a LeBron team than in another team?

THT is never gonna be a star but he can becomes a useful role player.

Pages and pages of pumping for guys like this and Sekou and it’s crickets for guys like Jokic/Giannis (lately)/Embiid…guys who are making all nba teams and MVP awards in some cases…but nobody wants to discuss them because anyone that got in early has sold out by now and they want to move onto the next guy who has a 40 point game in preseason or signs with klutch and has dirt cheap prizm cards they can stash up on.

And these threads always die when the pumpers find their bait. I really wish the masses weren’t so gullible and stupid.

Starting point guard for the Jazz now past month after the conley trade.

Killing it all month long with all star caliber numbers.

Dropped 37 points 8 rebounds and 10 assists just less then 3 weeks ago with multiple 8+ assist games and 20+ point games.

Tonight he dropped 41 points 4 rebounds 5 assists .

Like i said way back in this thread the lakers would regret the trade, He just needed a chance to play HIS game and have a shot to have the ball in his hands.

STILL only 22 years old......

Still loving my pc of him and admire him taking a starter roll in a new position and shining.

He dropped 41 and 37 against the Spurs (worst team in the league) and the Hornets (4th worst) let’s celebrate the jazz won by 11 and he was only +2. Imagine scoring 41 points and the team being better when you’re off the floor

No mention of the other 80% of games where he shoots 30% from the floor with 5 TOs. He has one of the worst points per shot attempt in the NBA but hey, who cares as long as he drops 40 against a g league team once per season

I'm going to throw a disclaimer that I bought a few THT autos the other night. I mean why not?

but your post is real eye opening. We are truly living in the day and age of bottomless scoring. and zero defense. Like every scoring achievement this season should be adjusted down by like 25% when comparing to players achievements from past seasons.

And of course he didn't respond to your post. As a fellow THT pumper I apologize.
