Thx for the suggestion. Reading up on the cross over service and there seems to be two camps...crack and send or leave it in the BGS case and do min grade 10, then I get it back if it doesnt make the grade.. Don't really want to risk cracking myself, but folks seem to think PSA will penalize the grade based on it already being in a BGS case. You have any experience doing cross overs?

Expect only Quad 9.5 or better to get a PSA 10 if you leave it in the holder and do not suggest a minimum grade.
I recently submitted 8 cross-overs (all BGS 9.5 grade). If any of the sub grades were 9 then the card got a PSA 9 grade.
Fair? Likely so.

8 cards = 2 PSA 10 and 6 PSA 9.

I think he’s trying to say PSA wouldn’t do it because they don’t want to have to justify why the graded something the way it was graded

I'm not saying it is a bad thing, that is why I included "(though they should)." Just stating why PSA/BGS would never provide that level of detail.

Waiting for my last 2 purchases to arrive before taking a few pictures of my latest additions. Those 2 are a series 2 vintage /99 and a series 2 foilboard /162. Might have over paid for them but really wanted them.

For some reason, I think the vintage works really well with Jimenez photo. I love that card.

Nice pick up. I inquired about it but my run of buying has to cease. Wife not happy and I need to put an end to buying. My last few Eloy pickups:

Last of the December Eloy pickups and probably for a quite a while:

And the huge stack of mostly Eloys and a few other White Sox cards I picked up last few months:

Those stacks are only a small part of my whole eloy and Sox collection. I have over 2 other 3 row shoe boxes (or whatever they are called) full plus others scattered throughout other boxes.
