Thanks so much for sharing the info. I know I, for one have been avoiding any jumbos for the past year. Nice to know they aren't the value vaccuum that they have been recently(series 1 and 18 update).

Thanks for the Update, I bought both Jumbo and Hobby this time just to be safe. I usually only do Jumbo, Much easier to break time wise.

I know hobby went from 36 packs to 24

Anyone remember how many base sets can be made from case of hobby

I calculated 3600 base per hobby case. (24 packs + 12.5 base per pack + 12 boxes per case).

Perfect collation would say 10.2 sets, so 8 or 9 sounds right.

Maybe Jumbo was exactly 11. One of the two was in series 1. Odds may change that of course.

Master sets look to be even larger than S1, as Faces of Franchise apparently is in hobby, not just retail...plus a gary vee insert set???
no mention on mlb show codes this year, so those may be retired, hmmm

edit:
also, it appears ALL insert odds have changed in both hobby & jumbo
inserts are tough, but some are more tough in jumbo than hobby and some are more tougher in hobby than jumbo
master sets will be more difficult to make than S1 for both hobby & jumbo

That would be a major bummerrrrrrrrr, i liked using those codes.

Do you happen to know the odds of color in hobby? Did it get harder since Jumbo got easier?

yes, despite s2 production being roughly 50% of s1, the odds are longer for hobby and jumbo much easier

actually, based on the odds, both JUMBO and HOBBY are lower produced than last year
not sure about what that means for retail, but odds are significant improvement

also, heard silver packs may have a new color added for S2 and Update

at least with the info I do have, every odd is WAY better than series 1 2019, and even significantly better than 2018 s2!!
plus stuff that was not on sell sheet or checklist and new parallels too for silver packs and insert cards (they brought back blue/black/gold for the insert cards that were in 2018 releases, so it's not just 150th parallel only now)

Man, the AL crop of RCs this year is weak. Vlad has hype but not the performance (yet).
