If the Dodgers continue to play like this good freaking luck beating them 4 of 6.
Tomorrow is a must win for Houston w/Verlander.

Game was equally matched....Dallas ran out of gas faster than Kersh; that 1st innning HR didn't help. Kershaw pitched masterfully - he deserved the W in this one.

Astros gotta wake up - which I'm sure they will, but I really think this series is going to go down to the pitching.

Why Hinch hasn't moved Springer out of the leadoff spot is mind boggling.
Hasn't done squat the entire playoffs.

Only game 1 so not worried. But the bats needs to wake up though. So much pressure on Verlander to have another great game. Can't go down 2-0(and having to face Darvish in game 3) as I don't see the Astros winning 3 straight at home. Need to score runs early and give Verlander a lead.

Astros need to start attacking pitches.
Way too many called first strikes the entire playoffs.

Dodgers are now 16-3 in their last 19 games including the postseason. It is very gratifying to see these guys in midseason form when it counts the most.

It's very odd how much I love this fox pre/post game broadcasting crew as a team. A-Rod and all.

Anyone who knows me knows I love pitching. I look for those special matchups during the season. Sometimes they turn out great(like Darvish vs Tanaka)....sometimes not. Tonight was awesome for me Keuchel was good, Kershaw was spectacular! Hopefully Hill and JV will be just as good tomorrow!

He could have easily thrown a complete game with 14-15 strikeouts.

Just goes to show what a joke the pitching side of baseball has become...you remove your ace after 83 pitches, while he's dominating, because...???????

Kershaw should get 2 starts and thus could get 2 wins in this WS. If the Dodgers win, and he gets 2 of the wins, what does that do for his HOF candidacy. I know he's most likely close. I would think winning a WS would do nothing but help his chances.

I also know he's not close to Koufax. But winning a WS could help close the gap some.

I would ahve loved to see him go the distance....

But hard to argue against dodgers pen...crazy to say but...fresh morrow and fresh Jansen are better than 83 pitches in Kershaw 8th and 9th

Win or lose, he’s already a lock for the Hall.

Yep, at 29 he's got to be a no doubt lock.
