Default Selling advice

Over the years i have accrued a good amount of non-PC stuff that I would like to sell. My dream is that a prince will ride up on a horse and offer 25% of book and take everything. Since that doesnt look like it will happen any time soon, I was looking for pointers for selling.
Im a pretty busy guy so managing a bunch of ebay auctions isnt feasible. Some friends told me about COMC, but I have so many cards that ill get killed just on listing fees. Any advice is appreciated.

My non-PC collection includes (approximately):
-200 cards over $10 (OPG=$4000)
-600 cards $5-$10 (OPG=$4400)
-1000 cards $2-$5 (OPG=$3300)
-plus a few 5k boxes of everything $2 and below (BV would be a couple grand if i was crazy enough to add it all up)

Thanks in advance.

Then take a lot of time sorting, photographing, pricing, and listing them for sale.

Frequent local stores and shows. Maybe a show dealer or your LCS owner might take some boxes.

As noted above, sort post pictures here in hopes of selling or trading for PC items.

Sell them for 10% less than they sell for on eBay. Otherwise seek out somebody buying bulk low end and move it all in one shot. Going to need a very good description of contents though.

ok cool, is there a "place to go" to find people buying in bulk? im not interested in taking a bunch of boxes down to a card shop to watch a guy pick out all the trout and jeter and say no thanks to the rest.

*edit* "not interested" is a bad way to put it. its just difficult to do with my availability. i get to the LCS about once a month if im lucky.

ive been looking through the buy/sell posts... and it seems like finding the right mix of cards to create an attractive package is definitely part of the game.
does it make more sense to split everything up by sport and then say "hey i have a bunch of football cards i want to sell!" or maybe is it a better idea to split by auto lot, jersey lot, serial #, vintage, etc?

thanks

Search member "mouschi", he does bulk sales and is quite good at the process, great thing with phones and webcams now is you can shoot a video that says a lot, I'd put together some big lots with highlight videos and should find some buyers. Also team lots will work well for collectors as opposed to investors who only want a bottom line and can't trust the value without a crazy detailed description.
