thoughts on 2014 TTT

Was just looking at Topps' social pages and sell sheets. I have to say, TTT doesn't look as nice this hear compared to last. Thoughts?

Triple threads seems to always look/be the exact same almost as all previous years. Cool singles but an awful break

It's awful! We're all going to lose millions! My eBays will suffer! File a claim against Topps with the BBB for releasing it!

Isn't that the appropriate response to every product here?

It's been really quiet this year. I don't believe in Topps printing to order but if they do, TTT will be solid. No hype around it at all.

I love these as well. It's just almost always a losing product if you are busting it. Singles always end up fairly cheap

Seems like triple threads is all high end sticker autos. Why are they almost always sticker autos? It's disappointing.

They tried to pimp the Unity relics and relic autos as increasing the hits but it really was just a way to water down the content.

2-3 nice cards per 9 box case..

the other 6 boxes a massive loss

I really like the product because of the Ruth Gehrig Musial Mays Aaron stuff....

I have a bunch coming (:

Always one of if not THE least favorite products of mine. I hate the cut outs, the fact that they use the same players every year and the fact that those players have so many cards. I love Stanton but he had at least 6 different TTT autos last year with all of the subsequent parallels and multiple different base cards with parallels too. That is stupid. Add in a heavy dose of sticker autos and a scrub CL and you can count me way, way out.

Has something to do with the Mantle family and rights to his name. I remember reading about it sometime last year. They won't allow him to be in any products at the moment.

Probably smart. They lose a little $$$$ in the short term but are able to drive up the asking in the long term. Topps was cranking out far too many Mick reprints and crap cards anyways.

Something like their contract with the Mantle Company expired.
