Gold Prizms??

I haven't been in the loop of the gold prizms and wanted to see what sort of information is out there for them. Have prices been steady? Falling? Rising? Do graded ones carry a premium? Are certain subsets/inserts more popular than others? How do we think these will do long term vs. lets say the PMG's from earlier this year?

Mainly, I am considering going after the Bill Russell Rainbow, and came across this card, and was hoping to get some opinions on it too. Thanks any help is greatly appreciated.

In my PERSONAL opinion, the golds might hold value (at least more than the PMG Retro's released earlier this season). This might only be true for Superstars, HOF Superstars and maybe top rookies though.

I think the best bet would be the USA subset, the base versions and the MVP subset. I am not a huge fan of finalists and downtown bound, but that is just my personal opinion.

As for the other colors I have yet to figur out what to think about them, the refractors seem to have created some following though!

As mentioned earlier, just my 2cents :-)

Popularity runs in cycles. A set that is forgotten becomes poplular, prices surge until they exceed the purchase power of many and the trend shifts to another set. Over and over again.
