I just want to play with your quote so don't get mad as I don't agree w/many things in this entire thread and I think that the OP is really a robot w/out the 3 laws.

1. I have to hit you up on the part I bolded as it rubbed me the wrong way. I see others have attacked you. I just have to know what job doesn't allow lunch breaks? What job does not give you a day off or a 1/2 day or a sick day in an entire year? Now if you are military, working far from where your bank is (the moon, an oil rig, etc) that makes perfect sense, but I cant see where you have not had a weekend or a day off or something in a year where you could get the card in question as banks have some pretty good hours now a days. You do have time to post during work hours (smart phone maybe?). I believe you do have the same or similar card but the way you are dodging reminds me of the Cal Ripken Aces or playing card auto that was so rare it caused a lot of controversy. Someone here (harryhoudini I think) said he had it and over a year plus to this day he never produced a picture or scan of said card.

2. I just don't trust bgs/beckett that much anyway. they will grade/label anything how they feel for the day. Strasburg SF anyone? how many people have received broken cases from them? How many mislabeled cards are out there? heck they gave my mark sanchez upside down auto a 10 grade.

3. I remember there was a stafford ud auto 1/1 that was missing an auto
4. frank thomas nnof anyone?
5. Topps skip numbering or not numbreing cards at all
6. topps always changing checklist and packaging right before products release and beckett goes by the original checklist and doesn't change much

Companies are going to have production issues and they may or may not catch them all.

I don't know why I feel that somehow the sales of 2005 chrome are going to skyrocket now because of this?

OP please list card up on ebay or an auction house so the masses can decide on what you have. Everyday this card becomes less valuable. Also was this graded in the original thread last year? I just don't remember and it would seem weird that it was graded in 2006 yet in 2011/2012 you had it ungraded. I might be wrong so don't hang me over that though.

I understand you're logic but geez, $500 is a lot of money for most people. I too questioned whether you actually had it until you explained it was in a safe deposit box, which makes sense to me, so I apologize for questioning you.

Nobody is really pissed at you, we just didn't understand why you've said you had it all this time but couldn't take the time for a quick scan, because we assumed it was in your house somewhere. I think luck even offering $50 was really generous, but I guess you make a lot more money than he does, so what seemed generous to him wasn't worth your time. Not everyone can afford to just lose $500 (which is what I'm sure they'd do once you had the motivation to go get it), and saying that coughing up that much money is the only way that you're willing to 'dance' with someone is a bit insulting to me, and possibly others who just can't put up that much.

Maybe the next time you have to go to the safe deposit box for something else you'll remember the card, or maybe not. Personally, I think that dave can probably contact Topps to get confirmation of the card being made, so it may be resolved before that happens. And then this whole mess will be resolved.

I work from basically 9-7 M-F, I live 22 miles from work. I work on Saturdays from 9-430. I am off Sundays to do what I cannot do during the week. My bank is near my home, thus, I cannot drive the 22 mile round trip on my lunch break to take a smart phone pic. In my spare time I am president of the board for a local animal shelter, which takes up most of my other free time. My free time which is lacking, does not involve going to a bank, for a card which I am telling you is the same. If you people do not believe me, then that is there problem, not mine. I have more important things than to appease Dave Peters. PS my days off I am on vacation or away.

There seems to be more room to post on facebook but they seem to respond better to twitter so I don't know. Hopefully I did it right and it will show up on twitter sometime.

They should show up automatically. Did you actually reference the Topps twitter account in your message? eg, including @toppscards in it? If not they won't see it. Your profile will also need to be public for them to see it.
