Now with all this said, do NFL teams actually value McKee or is this just a huge inside job from Blowout?
Tanner McKee obsession overload LMAO

I named a bunch of QBs NOT named Tanner McKee and you trolls keep steering it back to Tanner McKee, too funny

I think Rodgers will retire after winning the AFC North and getting into the playoffs, while LJack, Burrow, and Mahomes did not. Could he return? Yeah, but I think it's 75/25. The problem is the roster is aging, and they may have just one year left before the wheels fall off - Ramsey, TJ, Hayward, and numerous plug-in players are all approaching the age cliff. If I'm the Steelers, and Rodgers retires, I'd sign Malik Willis to a 2 year/$30M deal and see what he can do while planning on a long-term solution via FA or the draft. Or he's the answer, and we'll roll with Willis.

On to the Vikings. How their GM is still employed considering their disastrous QB situation is beyond me. Going with a totally unproven (and oft-injured) rookie(ish) QB after a 14-3 record the year prior, then watching your former QB (Darnold) walk and go on to secure the #1 seed in the conference, all while having the most expensive roster in the NFL, is a fireable offense. Is Tua an acceptable replacement there? Perhaps. They'll also be interested in a bridge starter, if only to give JJ some competition.
Rodgers seems like he's just playing to play not because he wants to.
They limped into the playoffs with a missed kick they will be one and done.
Time to hang it up.

In the offseason this team needs some WRs for sure they are lacking in that dept

I'm not trolling, I genuinely think those are the best landing spots for him. Let's not pretend you didn't want to discuss Tanner McKee with this thread, let's just be real here. I think it's okay to be honest.

I gave analysis and legitimate landing spots. I think the Falcons for example, is a spot that makes a lot of sense that I didn't see anyone suggest. They're re-working his contract now so maybe it's gone, but he's 38 in August and cutting/trading him saves money long-term as of now. Penix tore his knee and sucks. Makes a bit of sense.

Just giving my input.

They used a 1st rd pick 2 yrs ago, and they are tied to Cousins for a lot of $ unless they can get out of it, not sure why they would/how they could try to bring in ANY QB. Cousins has stated he felt blind sided and misled by the team for drafting Penix, so maybe he would do whatever he could to get out of there including voiding years, or something

I think Lamar, Burrow and Jones arent going anywhere. I dont see Tua or Murrey having any legitimate landing spots at the moment. I think Murray should switch to the RB postion. We have some short kings doing very well at that postion currently. He cant see over his O line to throw.

I hope Tanner stays in Philly. He is a solid backup and I think he has more potential than Howell.

My favorite MSU QB will find a landing spot. I think he should go back to the Commanders. Full circle.

I am not sure who would want Murray or Tua as a starter.
Who sees their performances and says "yeah, I want some of that"???
At least Murray has upside as a rusher, but Tua? Not much to work with

They are both ok options as a short term starters but not long term answers. The biggest hang up with both of them is their contracts, nobody is going to trade for that

The contracts are tough but I’m thinking the Fins can pull a Broncos/Wilson and cut Tua, take the hit and draft for someone or grab a cheap short term free agent, maybe they just roll with Ewers.

Personally I think they should blow it all up and trade guys like Waddle and Achane and get as much draft capital as they can

Cardinals are different they have a great offense and Brisett is a good bridge QB. They need defense

Cousins will likely be cut by March. They push all the non guaranteed money into next year. Falcons will be the hook for like 90 million in 2027 if they don't cut him by March. This all but guarantees he will be a free agent this year. They will have some dead cap this year, but it assures them no dead cap for Cousins in 2027.

It creates another problem. No veteran QB on the roster and an unproven/injured Penix. They don't have a 1st rd pick so a top tier draft pick isn't in sight. Sounds like they are gonna have to go free agent route

yep, probably on the cheaper side. Who that QB is and how long the contract is for will be telling in how much confidence they have in Penix. Same as Minnesota. Bring in somebody like Mac Jones and give him a four year deal, expect that player to be the starter going forward. Bring in Mariota on a 1 or 2 year deal, than that assumes Penix/JJ will get another chance when healthy.

Nick Mullens. Tommy Cutlets

Both, hot one minute, gone the next.

Or maybe not...

Can any team out there take us all back to 2020 and 2023 respectively when their base rookies were selling for $100+ a pop?
