Most of it reads like AI, especially calling Maye & Caleb "rookies."

He probably put responses through AI software prior to posting.

It's 100% him. And you can tell because he's trying so hard to sound like an adult. It probably took him 3 hours to write coherent sentences and give the appearance of someone who can dialogue appropriately. Imagine the restraint it took him.

So many overreactions my god.... Mahomes will not win a super bowl this year and everyone acts like his legacy is spiraling. Do the same people who think its all doom and gloom for the rest of Mahomes career realize Brady won his 4th superbowl at 37? Mahomes has 7 years to get his 4th superbowl at or before Brady did.

Also if you remember too the decade Brady could not get over the hump again for his 4th, all the talk was it was over for him... This comes with the all time great territory Mahomes has already put himself in.

The current sportsworld is just over reacting hot take idiots. That's all

The problem people might see is that Mahomes is digressing on some level each passing season and that could be considered worrisome.

I don't really buy the regression talk. He had a horrendous game last Sunday, abysmal. But it's one game. He hasn't had any magic or been some dominant force this season, so the whole thing is a function of how high the bar/standard was set to begin with.

When the Chiefs won their first SB in 2019-2020, were people crying about the fact Mahomes only threw 26 TDs in the regular season? A mark that would indicate nearly a 50% regression from the season prior?

In his psuedo rookie year, or year 2, he threw for 50 TDs and led the league, won an MVP. But lost to my Patriots (sorry Chiefs guys). But no one was complaining when they won the SB and he threw for like 49.2% less TDs and 1000 less yards.

I understand the eye test, I've watched ever Chiefs game I think this year. There just isn't any magic, it looks bad. But to reiterate my previous points --- There's no Tyreek Hill, Kelce is 36 years old now not 28-32, the OL acutely was significantly worse in the past weeks, seemingly terrible at run blocking. Maybe Reid's scheme is predictable and not innovative at this point, solved by my defenses. But I agree Mahomes has looked bad this season, worse. But I will continue to point to the 1:1 analogy to Tom Brady 2019 Patriots season. Where Brady was middle of the pack in TDs/yards/ratings, then joins the Bucs and is a top 1-3 QB and wins a SB the next year.

The issue is the Chiefs managing the cap and roster and potentially having a soft rebuild here.

I’m guessing English was not his first language. The posts this time look to have been enhanced by AI as was mentioned. He did have difficulty putting terms in the correct context at times with organic posts (ie: ignorance is a bliss).

Side note: Mahomes really makes people crazy, good or bad.

So, little Delta 2.0 tried to make a comeback and only lasted 13 posts!
Such a shame... Even with the obvious help from AI, he still couldn't make himself sound like an authentic adult

Crazy to read people still comparing this guy to Brady. Some of you really like this QB that much? You struggle to understand Brady’s dominance. Just compare him to Montana… Oops, you can’t do that either since Montana played in the real tough guy era of football. He will go down in history as an amazing QB but let the comparisons rest. That discussion is done and not even close.

Very few people in this thread are currently comparing Mahomes to Brady. Most of the ones doing it are Brady fans coming from his thread. Personally I find the comparisons boring and would rather just appreciate two great quarterbacks.

The bottom line is that the Chiefs need to revamp....and revamp soon.

It is difficult to compare anyone to Brady when it comes to SB victories. He was the ultimate outlier. No one has ever won like he did at advanced ages. And it is very doubtful it will be replicated.

in the history of the Super Bowl, 2 QBs, not named Tom Brady, have won a super bowl over the age of 36. That was Peyton Manning at age 39 when his defense carried him to the win over Carolina and John Elway at ages 37 and 38. Tom won SB's at ages 37, 39, 41 and 43. that is the precedent for victorious QBs over age 36.

To think that Patrick (or any other QB over age 30) will have 7 more seasons to get back on track and start winning more SB's at age 37 or above is not very realistic.

Historically, a QB needs to get his Super Bowls in hand by 35 or 36 at the oldest. winning SB's into the late 30s is an extreme outlier. Unicorn level.

The Chiefs have wasted Patricks age 30 season, and honestly, next year is probably also a wash.

it is possible that Patrick can go on a streak at age 37 and win 3 or 4 more SB's, but historically that is nearly impossible.

Think that most people on this thread would/should be in agreement with this post. For Mahomes longevity, it’s an unknown but really a leap to think he would march Brady as it was unprecedented. So many things could derail it. Time will tell. It always does.

I did not ever for the life of me envision the Chiefs being sub-500 at this point in the season and in a worse position than the Cowgirls.

Think it's quite evident Mahomes' deep ball arm strength has been steadily regressing. Even the completions have either been off target or underthrown which have throttled would-be easy td's into fresh sets of downs.

He's still so damn good and arguably still a top 3 qb in the league. The onus is on the rest of these young dweebs to seize the opportunity this year with KC potentially sidelined.

Hurts winning again won't be shifting any conversations.
