The front rolled through at practice, not much rain but stuff was blowing over left and right. Then I couldn't get to sleep because of the wind for about half an hour. Feel good though, not tired. No moon pies or polar poops!

Going to my parents from there as they need some cases of spring water. I will bring them 3 today then more after I empty the trunk of my car after the show tomorrow and Saturday.

Yeah, here too. They closed the Nice bridge over to MD by us. They re-opened it this morning for car traffic only so the Federal workers who live in Maryland could get to the navy base.

Nope. Not for me anyways. They are meeting friends of theirs for lunch around 12:30. They could be going there... My sister's birthday is Saturday and I am meeting her and my parents at Carrabba's at 5:00 Saturday, right after the show. My b-i-l has his birthday Monday and would normally be there but is currently en route to Cleveland as one of his relatives passed away Tuesday. He and his brother are driving up there.

You have to love the IAFF union.

My SIL is a firefighter with Naval District Washington and while having to work during the shutdown, he's not getting paid. He is also a volunteer at the same fire station we are in Charles County, Maryland. The Charles County Volunteer Fire & EMS Association is giving away $300 grocery cards to volunteer members in the county that are federal employees not getting paid. The union told him he was not able to accept it as they classified it as a "bribe."

And yet, the same union says nothing when members who volunteer receive money from their fire stations at the annual banquets for being top call runners or winning awards.
