I have no idea what he would be like as a sports team owner, but he would def fire 90% of the back office staff

I would be okay if he fired the whole analytics team. At least it would be a start.

Somebody please tell me Matt Blake gets fired if they get a new owner. It’s not just him but most pitching coaches around the league. Just keep track of how most pitchers do after a mound visit. These guys are not really helping the situation.

At least if the season ends tonight it accomplishes 2 things the eventual World Series winner knocked the Yankees out of the playoffs the last 2 years and it leaves the Yankees as the last team to win 2 in a row which is actually 3 1998 through 2000.

Yea, he isn't what NY needs or wants. Texas, Marlins, or Braves maybe. But NY.........

All they need to do is sign Bichette, Tucker, Bellinger, and Bregman, and maybe Schwarber

I just want guys who can steal bases and put the ball in play. Every team in the playoffs has these guys but us.

My dream offseason would be to sign Kyle Tucker, Emilio Pagan, Okamato, and Imai.

I really wouldn’t be opposed to signing Gleyber back and moving Jazz to third again if we don’t get Okamoto.

I’d also empty the farm for Paul Skenes if Pittsburgh decided to trade him.

I don’t think this is realistic at all.

Max Fried wins the gold glove. Only one for the Yankees.

According to Spotrac estimations, the Yanks are already going to be $13m over the first luxury tax threshold when you factor in arbitration numbers

. I'm curious to see if the expiring CBA and it's potential lockout will have a similar effect like last time where teams spend a lot of money between now and the expiration date.

Let him enjoy his time elsewhere. I don't think he is made out for NY. His numbers his first few years were an aberration.

Bichette looked pretty good at second base during the World Series. Get rid of Volpe and sign Bo for short and let Chisholm walk in 2027 moving Bo to second and bring up Lombard Jr. for SS. We need contact guys that can hit instead of home run or nothing guys.

Yeah I'm becoming Team Bo too. I like his approach. Get Bo and Belly and let's go to war.

I hate that you are always right. The Yankees will probably add 1 or 2 over the hill guys for $5 million each and continue to roll out players who can't hit (Ryan McMahon) and players who only swing for the fences but can't hit Judge homerun numbers (Wells, Stanton, Volpe, Chisholm).

We would all love Bo’s bat but not his glove.

Would anyone take Realmuto on a short team deal if he took one? Would be an instant upgrade over Wells.

Nah I'll stick with Wells over him. Can't believe I just typed that, but JT will be 35 yrs old. Cashman would never.

I would take Bo if the price is right. They will still need a SS, he really isn't a good fielder. I would rather spend the money on pitching. Cashman needs to make several important trades, this roster is a mess. At the end of the day the big roadblock on this team is Stanton.

I agree. The TEAM does not need a total rebuild. The FRONT OFFICE does.

Pretty interesting that the Yankees are flying to Arizona before their opening day game against the Giants to play two spring training games against trhe Cubs. I'm not sure I've ever seen a team do that before.

If the Yankees do I hope they spend wisely.
