Well, we know for certain you don't like Baker and will never like Baker. So there's one.

Sure seems like TN might be looking for a new QB in the 2026 draft. They are already saying they plan to simplify the offense for Ward? If you need to have the offense dumbed down after 6 weeks you are not going to make it in the NFL.

So is he going to be Josh Rosen traded for say a 2nd or 3rd round pick to some team then be out of the league after year 2 or 3?

Depends on your scheme in college. Some qbs learn very little little in college like a Michael Vick. All thier reads and checkdowns are on the same side of the field. That is why it took Vick so long to be an actual qb in the league. That and prison lol.

I think the Jets are going to get the first pick and a new coach. I like this coach, but i think they are going to be a tempting job. I was thinking as i hear the Indiana kid as a potential target. I could see the jets hiring the indiana coach and drafting the qb

The Indiana coach just got a huge deal.

Yep, like the Raiders. They won’t win another game. Easy top 3 pick coming. Kiper’s first mock has them taking JaMarcus Russell 2.0, no thanks. They need OL first and foremost.

Cam Ward was already drafted, by the Titans.

Are you talking about the Jordan Reid mock draft? Where the Raiders are taking Sellers?

Let's clarify a bit here

I’m talking about LaNorris Sellers. This is looking like another weak QB class. Raiders should just roll with the kid they drafted out of North Dakota, Cam Miller and build up the O line.

I don't know about Miller, but I am all in on teams drafting from the lines out.

Raiders shutting down Maxx is diabolical

They want Moore

Mendoza in Vegas would be hilarious though

If the Raiders lose to the Giants they will be first overall in the Draft order.

If the Raiders beat the Giants, they will be fourth.

Lots of draft implications these last 2 weeks

Moore blows and should stay in school.

Nor do you.

Anyways,

I have Fernando Mendoza going #1, drafted to the Raiders, if Lamar doesn't go to the Raiders first

If Lam-Jack goes to Vegas, than poor Fernando will be drafted by the Jets, and Justin Fields will be relegated to back-up QB where he belongs

You are the king of Monday morning QB action, LOL.
AFTER the season is well over, and the awards are given, only then do you make predictions. LOL

Stick to what you do best; picking against Denver- it's worked for you once out of your last 13 tries

Denver and ya boy Nix almost lost to a 3rd string QB on a 6-9 team for Jiminy Christmas's sake

Nobody was picking Carson Beck to win the Heisman.

Nobody then, nobody now

College QB stats are generally meaningless. Much of the stats padding comes from lackluster competition.

Carson Beck stats vs. lesser competition (Combined Record 29-44)

15 tds 0 int

The rest (combined record 59-28)

11 tds 10 int

The same thing can be said of 2024 (weaker teams' combined record 29-46)

19 tds 2 int

Stronger teams (combined record 63-22)

9 tds 10 int

Looking at extensive amounts of tape is just about the only way to scout a college QB for the NFL. Much of that focus should only be on games in which the QB played against quality competition, given that the elite HS talent (which ends up in the NFL primarily sticks to about 30 programs. The rest of college is filled with what is left. One thing you can see quite clearly is that when Carson Beck plays against better competition, he's not the same QB.

In Addition, Carson Beck will be 24 during his rookie season. He's been wildly inconsistent and looks more like a 3rd to 4th round pick.

Honestly, if it's between Carson Beck and someone like say, Cade Klubnik, I'm taking Klubnik over Beck. (More than a year younger, and a true dual-threat QB)

Does Beck even go by Rd #4 ?

Doesn't make sense to draft a career backup QB any higher than that. My guess is he's in and out of the NFL within 3 yrs.
