For now, only if you have a direct account with Leaf but it should be available soon for ordering. They did limit 3 cases per account and the current release is mid November for anyone wondering.

I can’t see how they’d make these with a border like that. The Polaroid is already bigger/wider than a standard trading card size right? They’d have to be oversized to fit like that. Will be interesting to see how this comes out.

They are oversized, probably 5"x7".

Yeah, I can see it being 300 a box for sure if 275 is the Leaf Direct price.

Really??? If that’s the case then no interest from me. For some odd reason I only like standard sized cards. I’ve never been a fan of double or triple panel cards let alone jumbo size. I guess a Polaroid is bigger. Forgot as I have held one in decades.

A polaroid photo like this is already larger than a trading card without any additional borders, so short of cutting them down, there's no way to fit them in a standard-sized card.

Anyone else interested in learning more about Marlayne the woman who put together this incredible collection? There isn’t much on the auction site and a search just found an obituary from 2020, which would make sense it’s her family likely selling these as it doesn’t feel like something you just decide to sell one day while alive. I dunno I’d just love to hear more about this woman who was at all these events, managed to get the Polaroid and auto, probably became known or recognized in those circles for doing this. Like I’d assume not all these people even gave fans autos on the street or wherever so I’d love to hear how she pulled some off. While money was obviously the family’s end goal with the auction as they had no idea what buyer would do, in a way I think it’s nice and she would of liked that they are being used this way and enjoyed and shared by others for years to come.

Interesting! I’m curious if the photos will be placed into an actual oversized card or will they be slipped into something like a paper photo frame?

Can some members not see the numerous examples in this thread of exactly what the finished product will look like?

Kenneth Branagh is my favorite actor/director and is listed on the original auction. Hopefully I can find him and not break the bank.

"The collector, Marlayne Ances, was a founding lifetime member of the Republican Senatorial Inner Circle, a member of The National Press Club, and a delegate from Haddonfield, New Jersey. Welcomed by both parties at the Capitol Building and the White House, Ances attended briefings and meetings in the Oval Office with Presidents Reagan, Ford, and both Bushes. Both she and her husband, Dr. George Ances, a prominent obstetrician for over 60 years at Cooper Hospital in the Philadelphia area, were members of the United Nations, MOMA, the Kennedy Center, and many other foundations. As collectors, the Ances attended the Academy Awards and the Tony Awards yearly, in addition to countless sporting events, plays, concerts, book signings, guest lectures, movie sets, award ceremonies, etc. If there was a crowd, Marlayne Ances was likely in the middle, pen in hand, Polaroid camera around her neck, and a big smile on her face."

The 1/1 nature of the photos also adds value to the autograph. And what a fantastic form of authentication, a photo of the signer from seconds before they signed the autograph. That was a great idea that Marlayne Ances had. I wonder who signed her first and last Polaroids?

I see Trump is on the list for this too. Wonder how much that will go for if it gets pulled.

I think i saw a photo of the trump one, unfortunately he signed right on the photo and it didn't come out well, instead of signing on the bottom white portion of the polaroid. Doesn't look as good.

I see a mockup. I’m not sure how anyone can tell if the frame is cardlike with the photo placed inside a window or just a printed folder similar to what you would get after purchasing a photo at a thrill park? Guessing the latter but I like surprises😊

Too bad Leaf couldn't get ahold of the Birthday Book.
Those ones have cute little drawings and even inscriptions!
