Yes. My stuff will most likely never get any offers as it isn't Pokemon or Modern Sports so in my own case, there are no eligible offers, just the Sell on ebay or Send to Vault. When I submitted the order those options were available to me and I selected to ship them back to myself. That's what is frustrating as I never chose any other option but to ship back myself but now have to wait on the 24-hour clock to expire before they start the shipping process.

Chances are your cards were going to just sit there anyways, so the 24 hour clock doesn't really cause your stuff to get shipped out later than it normally would have.

Last two subs 70% and 68% gem rate. Great, just so we can avoid the 25% gen rate order that pops up every 10-20 orders

If it’s not today it’ll be Mon/Tues. it’s about a day and a half after the clock runs out when you get ship notification.

My last order took 7 days to ship. It was 6 days after the clock ran out. It definitely varies.

My last two, the clock ran out and afterwards I got tracking within 48 hours, but I guess I got lucky.

EDIT: *Had to delete the picture of the 2023 Mosaic Stroud RC Stained Glass PSA 8 because PSA’s agreement says we cannot post pictures of the grader’s notes*

PSA is a very scary company.

Here’s the $99.99 monthly special with grader’s notes. I thought the bottom left corner on the back would make it a 9, no clue what they are referring to about the indentations on the back. They should have mentioned the bottom left corner on the back. The good news is that PSA offered me $497 for my PSA 8 when the last PSA 9 did $400. So I obviously accepted the $497 offer.

I just looked up how much PSA is offering for a PSA 9 and it’s $352. So obviously their offering system is extremely messed up.

PSA appears to have increased the price of the entry level ebay purchase --> ebay authentication --> grading program from $39.99 to $42.99 and now as of this evening, I am not seeing the option available for new purchases flagged to go through authentication.

FUN!

Two weeks seem to be the norm before an order is checked in unfortunately.

How about this one?

June Vintage Sports and Non-Sports Special (1960-1

11 Cards

Ship back to me
Jun 16, 2025

Est. by Oct 16, 2025

I also have another one that was due a week ago. I got an upcharge last week and immediately said yes. It has been sitting in that status for a week now and the grades have not even popped online yet. It will easily take another week to ship if I had to guess. These guys are having some serious problems/slow downs right now. I just had a few orders checked in yesterday for bulk and they were Jan 5.

I am 4 weeks into "QA check" on a vintage 10 card order. This is absurd.

Okay, so PSA bulk is now $21.99 per card

Gamestop PSA submission for sports is now $21.99 per card

This is the first time, if I'm not mistaken, that there is no economic benefit to having a PSA membership. In fact, it actually is losing you money by the time that you have to pay for shipping to and from PSA on your own vs the gamestop flat shipping fee

Unless you want a monthly magazine???

True, though last year when I got my membership it came with a $150 credit to Fanatics Live which was nice.

Photo authentication is now $60 + $30 to encapsulate a 8x10? Did I get that right? Last time I did it the cost was $50 including encapsulation.

For the $199/year "Premium" PSA membership, you also get a CardLadder account. If you're a fan of Cardladder, it's basically a wash if you were going to subscribe to Cardladder anyway since I believe CardLadder is $200/year.

The lack of even one card-related special for Club Members is just baffling to me. I know PSA is slammed, largely with Pokemon, but it's such short-signed thinking. You need to have free samples, $1.50 hot dogs, and $5 rotisserie chickens so people keep their Costco memberships, even if they don't frequently go. So you need some card related specials, even if it's 1960s Hockey cards only, just to have some incentive and not piss off your most loyal club members.

To me, even if I liked Cardladder, I dumped my PSA membership a while back, and would rather just use VCP because Collector's Universe has turned its back on the very thing in its name..."collectors".
