FT JR had an excellent practice last night. They were working on barehand grabs at third base and throwing to second and first base. He was a natural at it. Coach was making fun of him because FT JR claims he wouldn't be good in the infield.

I take them off. FT JR is a chicken nugget guy.

Basically had no cheese on my burger. I'm just going to have to start ordering it with no pickles like my Mom used to when I was a kid.

The coach forgot FT JR's uniform again so after practice I followed him to his house to pick it up. FT JT went home with Mrs. FT so he could do his homework. I asked the coach if he had any advice on confidence for FT JR at the plate since he almost always Ks. He told me he was starting his swing to late. He also said he will never be angry at a kid for striking out as long as they are up there swinging since the more they swing, the more likely they'll hit the ball. He told me how fast FT Jr was and wished he could get on base more. I told him his only hit so far as been a bunt single so he said he may have him bunt more then.

Working on getting my 2013 HP Mini laptop functional for a work trip this week. It booted up and the battery charged overnight, so that was good. Have to see if it will open the files I need to use. Haven't used it for a few years - I initially forgot how to turn it on.
