At this point who cares man. Cal has had the best power hitting season of any catcher or switch hitter in the history of baseball

He played his fewest games at catcher this year since his 2nd season....Smart move by the M's.

Just went into my DCSports consignment account to see if I had ever sold a Cal. Mid 2022 I unloaded a 1st Bowman refractor auto for a whopping $11. Amazing to see how far he has come - a great prospect story. Everyone is always overpaying for the hyped prospects, but the real returns happen with players like Cal or the like. From the bargain bin to beyond.

#55 passes the mick for the most by a switch hitter. 1 away from JR for the Mariner record

It still amazes me that pitchers pitch to him like they are not afraid of him.

Unbelievable think about this in the same day he breaks a record by Mickey mantle and ties a record by Ken Griffey jr

Lol that’s not happening for sure but for sure Mickey mantle has been erased as the single season switch hitter hr leader.

As a fan I am rooting for Cal. But I have some sweet judge cards that would really benefit from an MVP and potentially a WS win.

How long until Judge suffers Trouts fate of having his game fade?

I’m hopeful for a great playoff run from Judge so I can move off of most of his stuff before Father Time comes.

xHR (expected home run total based on how many ball parks a home run would have still been a home run at):

Cal Raleigh 2025: 47.8

Salvador Perez 2021: 50.4

No-doubters (home runs that would have been home runs in every ball park):

Cal Raleigh 2025: 26

Salvador Perez 2021: 27
