Default Bought a card

Bought a card 2 months ago from them on ebay auction. Yesterday it gets corrected to "questionable authenticity". That erodes my trust in them. If they cant catch stuff how many fake psa slabs are passing through and being sold. I now have very little trust in that things I could buy being real... On top of that no saying anything about getting rid of tarriffs on shipping, their inability to process any shipments on time and ther conditions on tcg cards being horribly horribly wrong cards listed nm with creases and coffee stains. This company is sinking fast they at this point dont have the ability to do anything right and have no communication about it.

I understand the frustration there, but I have been sending in thousands of cards this year to COMC and never once have they missed a deadline of mine. Including the free slabs promotion.

I'm not supporting their failures as they have certainly had their fair share, but as with all issues, we are only hearing from those having problems.

I have over 10k cards still processing over the next couple months - might be me in here complaining in November, but so far so good.

you might want to go play the lottery - you seem to be the only user who hasn't been impacted by their terrible year

Default All I want to do is talk about COMC

My issue lately is with their customer service and how bad it is. I have something going on for nearly a month now- about a shipment they got wrong….been emailing them fairly consistently throughout, and I either don’t get a response or get a response 3 or 4 days later (and still zero progress on the issue being resolved). Most recently they finally asked if I want a manager’s contact to connect with them through email or phone on the issue- I said that’s fine…and that was over a week ago, no response to that.

Meanwhile…had an issue over on eBay the other day, got on the phone with customer service and they addressed it right there. Talk about a massive difference in the way two companies handle customer service…and yes I realize comc apparently doesn’t have the resources to do phone customer service.

The most frustrating thing is COMC used to have good service - I think when James (Rungoodlife) left the company things started going downhill. I always got the sense that he cared about the users and would make the extra effort to make sure we were happy.

The biggest concern is they are still charging us 30% tarrifs on cusma compliant goods that should have no tarrifs anymore

They are lazy is my guess. They didn’t charge the 30% tariffs immediately so I expected it to be little bit until they correct it. It’s annoying they jacked up shipping (partly Canada posts fault) so hopefully they get this fixed soon as well

I seen this coming back in 2011 and told Tim so. Service is the key.
Say you have only 1% issue per sale, as the company grows that 1% gets to a point where it is no longer controllable. If you do not commute property that 1% gets larger.

Tim's e-mail address was posted years ago. It disappeared and then you could not call them anymore, then message replies went from the same day to now, who know how long. The last time I contacted them it was a week. Then come the canned replies. "We will look into it." Yes now and then you get one who cares.

Yes here you heard mainly complains. My dealers and traders are getting smaller each year but even with the few there are more and more that are not happy with COMC like they were 3 years ago.

Myself my buying has dropped down to 10% of when it was. Several guys I know have quit all together while a few are still going at the same speed.

I just had 6 graded cards added (due 9/3) from the promo and was charged $9.00?
Comc's issues continue...

Did they have number grades? There was a carve out that authentic card or autograph would not get free processing.

No Auth or autos, just number grades (all PSA).
They just completed the small order of 7 cards (1 sports/6 nonsports). Total fees = $10.50
After hearing about the dates being pushed back I expected mine would as well. But they finished it on time. They did add one nonsport card to the [Base] graded bucket that is a variation not yet created. No biggie, just requested a correction on that one. I will have to follow up with them about the fees.

Haha so does my uncle….he’s a job steward and heavily involved with the union. Not blaming the workers

Looks like COMC finally adjusted the duties…..finally getting some cards shipped home!

I'm not talking about his breaks. I'm saying when he worked for COMC he helped me 10+ times when others would routinely ignore me.

Reached out this morning about being charged and got a quick response.

-We are looking into this issue; as it is most likely impacting other users and consignment batches.
This will be resolved within the next few days.

My OCD nature is being driven nuts by this...how is this possible? What one card do I have in a weird status?

Items not for Sale : 500
Items Ready to Ship : 501

How can an item be ready to ship but for sale? I've got nothing sent to auctions currently, I'm guessing it's something I marked for ship but it's pending a sale on eBay? If so, how do I find that?

On the right side of your Dashboard, can you click on "Items Ready To Ship"? You could also click on "Request Shipment" to see what is there.

Ha! When I clicked on that, scrolled through all my items marked for shipment, then went to my dashboard, it's back to being the same 500 ready to ship and 500 not for sale. Guess it was a phantom?

There's a banner right now saying:

Update: Packages will be coming more quickly - we've shortened turnaround times for Bulk shipments, from 5 weeks to 3.

Did you send some cards in for consignment that got refused?

Did anyone else notice their shipping charges get cut in half? I'm in Canada and have 378 cards sitting there because the shipping total shot up to $306 USD and when I checked today it's down to $153.
