Agree. I am not sure why the distributors have these boxes at around $500, you can buy them for under 400 on ebay and Topps announced they will sell at $300 which was the pre-order price.

Not even sure why people are overpaying on ebay as this product is not going to immediately sell out, just like how Topps Chrome sat forever too.

It's pretty much there already.

Outside of Heritage and Flagship, pretty much every other product has been released at a ridiculous price point.

back when, $150 a box was too much. I haven't touched finest since 2013 and that was a pitiful release year. I hit a Nolan Ryan Buyback 1993 finest all star auto so that more than made up for things.

I did a few of the finest flashbacks the 1st year and those were a great hit for the price.

I can't justify buying and opening anything these days.

Checklist shows McCutchen autos so that's exciting to me. For some reason, he has never signed much as Pirate after a certain point. Dual with Skenes listed as well.

The only hobby box I have broken in the last 5 years or so is a cosmic box last year that I got direct from topps. The juice is no longer worth the squeeze. I watch breaks all the time just to see the nice hit here and there. I dont know how much bowman they printed, but on fanatics live it seems like a never ending supply. The breakers have been breaking it for what seems like 24 hours a day since release.

I have a strong feeling there actually will be an immediate sell out or at least a very quick sell out. I imagine there aren't many available boxes and it seems like an easy flip for the millions of box flippers out there. I hope I'm wrong because I would like a box but no way am paying the ridiculous marked up price on this.

Back in 2023 I bought a case of Finest for $1800 and was able to get redemption packs from Topps at the National. I sold the redemption packs for $960 and was into the case for $840. Now, if anyone knows me, I sell everything that isn't Tigers. I build sets to sell, list all parallels, inserts, etc. I still lost around $400 on the case.

I cannot imagine the loss people are going to take at $300-$500 a box. I do wish everyone luck that's willing to give it a shot.

Well I was wrong, I was easily able to get a box and it is still in stock. I wish it was like this for every box I wanted LOL.

I'm pretty confused, was dropping kids off at camp, alarm went off at 9am, checked my phone and the Topps website and both boxes and cases said sold out. But by the looks of this thread that was not the case?

It took a minute or two for both to start showing as available. Cases showed as sold out within maybe 5 minutes after that but would pop up as back in stock here and there. Within 40 minutes everything was showing as sold out.

Watched a few Youtubers ripping this. Brutal rip! Not bad I guess if you look at it as you're getting a chance at 2 autos for $279 (Pre Order Price) IF YOU WERE LUCKY TO GET IT THERE. Bowman Chrome is the same $279 pre order price for 2 autos as well. But with the prices exceeding $400 to $500, they can keep it!! Small sample size I watched but was pretty bad and the QC is God awful too!
