The lack of a border and lack of subtle lines/shadow behind mahomes image makes the card look plain to me.. when I was deciding which to buy, I had to see them both in person, thankfully I did because it was a easier decision..owning either is a huge accomplishment

To me that's what makes Flawless the Insert RPA that stands out.

It shouldn't be compared to the NT base, it should be compared to the NT Rookie Material Autos, or the Immaculate Premium Patch Auto

I want to keep it sealed, but people have commented about the question of authenticity leaving it in the Panini seal. You're right that it probably won't gem. It's the last of my Mahomes collection. All of them but the Flawless were sold over the past 5 years.

Yeah, I bought them as the sets came out. Mostly in early 2018.

Are you planning on selling it soon? If so, then yeah, crack it out and grade it. Or if you're looking to sell it at the National, let me know. I'll be there and would prefer it with the Flawless label =)

But long term, I think seeing a card of this magnitude still in it's original seal (meaning it has never been touched after leaving Panini) could hold some significance.

When you said people were questioning the authenticity if you left it with the seal, that worried me bc I have a Luka Flawless with the seal.

Did anyone see the story about those autos being fake? I think it’s mostly memorabilia. But they were saying 90% of Mahomes and Judge autos are fake

95% actually. Yeah. I’m more interested in knowing if the rookies with his new auto are fake. The ones with the blue/yellow ink. One ebayer has a whole store of new-style Mahomes autos on his 2017 cards. I won’t accuse them of being fake but I’m now 100% suspect.

Maybe, maybe not. But do you know how easy it is to "unseal" (aka, peel the Flawless sticker back), open the one-touch, grade it and when it comes back a PSA 7, put it back in the one-touch and seal it back up? It's just a one-touch with a sticker holding it together. Not to mention, most of the older issues' cases are scratched to hell. I'd never buy a sealed Flawless card. Especially a high-dollar one.

I haven't tried to remove the Flawless label before. I thought they were one of those tamper proof stickers that left residue/damaged the original seal once removed.

The Flawless stickers are tamper proof. Pay no attention to conspiracy theories. You can visibly tell when someone has tried to peel them back.

If you're reckless, they can be "tamper proof". Ebay's authenticity stickers are, too, however I've opened many slab sleeves where the portion that's supposed to be left behind signifying tampering has been left completely intact.
