BS had an interesting take on that. Basically who cares about the ratings? The NBA already has an 11 year media deal. It’s been great for fans of the game

This is my view. I also think it’s cyclical. The general public doesn’t know any of these players compared to the previous generation (Lebron, Curry, KD) and the NBA has done an even worse version of two-timelines than the Warriors. OKC didn’t play on Christmas, nor did Indiana. Bet Indiana won’t next year either. The whole point of NBA regular season is to market the playoffs, and this year they marketed teams and players that didn’t make it far in the playoffs. I don’t care about ratings because I have league pass and watched these teams all year, but if NBA is going to complain about it, they really only have themselves to blame.

Nesmith is getting absolutely owned on the defensive end early on...

You spoke way too soon.

Who could have predicted that OKC all of a sudden looks like garbage on the road?

I tell you what you just cant predict these things!

Once again TJ McConnell is playing with more energy and precision than every single OKC player

Watching the first 3.5 quarters is purely optional. Pink noise for rage baiters.

We know the only thing that really counts.

Agree TJ.

Lot's of diehards here, and I'm one of them, but this series isn't moving the needle at all.

I'm not surprised in the least this series has low ratings. Let's be realistic: These are two small market teams.

Last time you said that Jdub had 40-6-4 on 56% shooting.

and Nomad: Sorry buck. Nesmith is a nice reserve player, good defense at times, but fouled out twice in these finals and is really streaky at times on offense.

Glad you like the guy and good for you for collecting him, but he doesn't move the needle.

Wasted challenge.

Turner obviously grazed his manhood with his elbow.

You ain't slick with them subtle grooming tactics, Myles.

Indiana running, this is fun.

Again, the level of physicality OKC plays with on defense compared to what they throw their arms up in protest against on offense is kind of comical. Apparently they’re #1 in the league for plays sent into the league office during the season, so it truly is a top-down philosophy within the organization to work the refs year round. Don’t blame Shai when the FO/coaching staff is orchestrating all that.

OKC shooting 44%
IND shooting 39%

IND up 15 because they have 44 shots to OKC’s 32. First time all series IND has won the possession battle I think?

They obviously have no interest in closing out in front of Tyrese's father and a hostile population of rival farm owners.

A nice philanthropic throw. You're welcome, Indy.
