Default Favorite 1990’s-early 2000’s inserts?

Was looking around eBay and saw the 1998-99 Skybox Thats Jam insert and was wondering what are some of your favorite 1990’s-early 2000’s inserts?

Yes to both of these. Also love the “That’s Jam” inserts as well.

Rave Reviews, Linchpins, Cut Above, Big Men on Court, High Voltage…many more…

The 90’s were truly cards at their apex.

Nine trey Scoring Kangs.

Value be damned. The way the light danced off the lightning bolts set against that Amistad background just hit completely different regardless of socioeconomic clecter class.

92 Beam Team.

Staple of my preadolescence. And most likely culprit of my advanced epilepsy. Absolute visual viagra.

I was thinking more along the lines of 1990's-early 2000's Inserts...

These are absolute fire.

I want a Garnett or an AI badly, but something else always seems to grab my money when one is up for auction.

Could never locate those rack packs locally as a tike. Was always stuck covertly Harvey Weinstein'ing cellos for glossy inserts that slid between my fingers. Then crying myself to sleep when it was a Larry Johnson ROY tribute.

When I was a kid I bought a rack pack, pulled a Drexler team leader but was disappointed I didn't pull the LJ tribute instead lol

Those up arrows were powerful. I actually saw the MJ at a show in the early 90s and plunked down $200 in cold hard cash, full Beckett high value at the time to secure that bag. Those things were impossible to find and I also never saw a rack pack in 92. Fast forward to a few years ago I emailed a guy on Ebay that had one for sale and turned out he had a stack of them so I scooped them all.

That's my ball.

Need to send my MJ in for grading at some point:

Also have a soft spot for Season's Best Shooting Stars, although they are susceptible to greening unfortunately:

1998 Fleer Tradition Electrifying

Also love any of the Warp Tek parallels of the insert sets from 1999 Skybox Dominion.

A true GranMama clecter with zero regards for ROI..even as a youngin.

Had this been 30 years ago, I would've ensured your PO box was full with maildays. Probably went through about 250 hotpack cellos on the Rookie Sensations paper chase and wound up with enough LJ kindling to warm a log cabin for a year.

IIRC the MJ peaked at like 400 or somewhere close? Bananas. Not even my local LCS' had the rack packs. Nice pickup on your haul. That's a card I'll eventually pick up myself since I have no interest in high grade copies.

Fleer nailed it with the simple clean insert designs back then. Your aforementioned '92 Total D and Magic's All Rookies are some of the favorites of my collection, even though most can be picked up for under $10.
