Must be trying to encourage to stay away from junk food by making you pay for it. Probably a lot of free healthy food to eat in catering they would prefer you eat.

It's a free catering, if you didn't want them to eat it just don't offer it.

It's like you and cracktoast missed the entire point.

Haha, Otis is fat. Let's just ignore the fact that they are charging the women more than the men! Or cut women "due to age" and then sign men older than those released.

New regime, same as the old.

I agree with the 1st point...but 2nd, is a little over exaggerated imo

Let's not forget that men are more "muscular and athletic" compared to women and probably hold that way longer...but also Dakota has had 3 serious knee injuries, and a concussion earlier this year as well...as far as I know, Cobb has not

Now do I think Kai was underutilized, yes...but that wasn't your argument

Agree with you on both of your points! I liked Kai as a solid midcard female, but yea. Men and women don't age the same, so yea, weird to act as if they are.

He's obviously going for a sexist thing, but I don't see it.

Even Big E called them out on the double standard with the age stuff. And there's the reports of the women's locker room being frustrated with bookings and creative shutting down a lot of their ideas.

So yeah, when stuff like this email that says the women are getting charge 50% more than the men for a snack in catering, you don't think there's maybe a little more weight behind those other reports?

Yeah that's not a real story. Their source is Pro wrestling Centel which is a play on the nba parody account. No credible source has picked this up.

So maybe that one is. The other two are. There's also Cora Jade saying she was body shamed by her bosses. Until all of the Vince guys are gone from the company, the Vince ways are still going to be there.

Kross is forcing their hand by absolutely killing these promos. If you don't think there was a ton of truth in the comments he made, then you're just as gullible as I was with the Otis post. While there's no backstage heat, his contract is apparently expiring this summer, so we'll see what happens. Sorry, but HHH isn't getting credit for that one.

I'm not going to sit here and glaze HHH. From Q3 of 2020 until Q3 of 2024, SD average total viewership was over 2 million a show, 16 straight quarters. The last three quarters, it's been around 1.5 million a show. Three straight quarters of a 30%+ drop in viewership from the previous year and 5 straight quarters with a drop. Raw had 5 straight declines before Q4 2024 saw a boost leading up to the Netflix move. NXT is the only show, AEW included, that's had sustained growth over last couple years.

Yes, I understand that the WWE is still doing just fine, but I'm not going to act like they are just crushing things. 2025 has been very lackluster.

Not going down this road with you, but it's not a double standard, doesn't matter what Big E's opinion is either. There is factual science in the way men and women age, this isn't some sort of shock. Also the average age of a womens wrestler is WAY older than it use to be even 10 years ago.

Not addressing the 2nd part, its not a real report and no, I don't think there is weight behind other reports when you're using your agenda on a fake report.

Like it or not, part of any wrestler's appeal is their physical appearance. It would make sense that there would be different standards and wants from management based on gender.

A 40 year old man and a 40 year old woman are viewed very differently - in normal society as well as in wrestling.

Yeah, it's still a double standard.

Standards are applied by role - just like I'm sure WWE has different standards and rules for most of their employees. Some of those may be appearance and gender based for on-air performers. For example, I'm sure Big E and Jackie Redmond both have different dress and appearance standards to meet for PLE preshows.

Also, these are world class athletes that are judged constantly on their appearance. Why is junk food being offered at catering at all? Just cut those and move on - talent can still stock up on their own if they need a sugar fix.

If one is required to have professional dress and appearance and the other is allowed to do whatever, it's a double standard.

If they let Pat McAfee wear whatever and tell Cole he has to wear a suit, that's a double standard.

Even if the email is fake, the fact that you are trying to justify it is pathetic.

OK white knight, agree to disagree. I'm sorry that your favorite female superstars now have to pay an extra 50 cents for snack cakes.

Somebody might want to break it to whit that double standards exist through life (and again this isn't a double standard situation)

Doesn't make them okay.

Big E made his comment and he's right. Read what he said. He said they start questioning the women about retirement and trying to push them into part time roles around age 35. What he was saying is that it has nothing to do with their actual abilities. And that is a double standard.

I'm like 99.999% sure Otis posted that as a very obvious joke. The email is literally addressed to only him labeled Snack Cakes. If WWE were charging females more for anything, much less snack cakes, purely because they're females they would catch actual flack from actual news sources.
